I've never started a gamethread before. Now I have.

I'm drinking Arrogant Bastard Ale, the same brew that some fucking strumpet stole from under my nose on my birthday. The Bruins could use some of this shit. They've gone from world beaters to getting beaten thoroughly by a hack of a goalie and a clown who once got arrested for screaming at motorists and buying booze for kids.

We need the arrogant bastards back. The same arrogant bastards who stomped a division leader to death with 8 goals. The same arrogant bastards who literally and figuratively flipped off 21273 people at once. The same arrogant bastards that left a city in ruin not but 7 months ago.

Fuck the Penguins. Fuck MAF, Geno, and Letang's Good Charlotte haircut.

Bylsma's alright though.

Definitely left my keys at the office, and I'm now locked out.

Good start to the weekend. To the bar we go.

I'm still hungover from last night. Naturally I've cracked a beer to remedy that situation. The Sam Adams Alpine Spring is actually really good.

Watching the Game 6 2008 Dafoomie video and I'm ready to run through a wall. I will never ever hate Marco Sturm after that shift for the winning goal. What a turning point for the franchise.

Man that 3rd period was unbelievable.

I still miss the White Ale.

That team had no business taking that series to 7 games, what a fun team that was to watch that season.

The scene outside the building after the game was icing on the cake. Watching lines of Habs fans walk dejectedly up the street to their Quebecian bus still makes me smile.

Hey RMPS, I come in here often to read but rarely post on SOSH. Hoping I can side track a for a minute here. Heres the deal, I live in Nashua, NH and I'm looking into a job in framingham but I am also taking night classes so dealing with traffic is extra important. I know route 3 to 128 is a rough commute but I'm wondering how 495 is? My thinking is catch up to 495 in Lowell and shoot back and forth that way. Wondering how the mornings and in particular the afternoon is with traffic? Any input any of you can give me is appreciated and if you wanna just send me a PM and keep the game thread on topic thats cool. Thanks guys.

Nothing like having a game in Boston between two of the best teams in the league a little over 12 hours after a Celtics home game.

Seeing Idris Elba, or a black man who looks like him, in the new Ghost Rider trailer makes me weep with sorrow.

As does the fact that Eva Mendes prefers carpet

I live in Somerville and often have to go to a client in Worcester and 495 isn't that bad. I get it from Route 2 and sometimes it's a little slow but at max it takes me 20 minutes to get from Route 2 to 290 and I'm pretty sure it opens up after that. 495 to 90 to Framingham would probably be pretty easy IMO. 90 only backs up in the afternoon at the toll. No idea what it's like going out as I avoid 90 unless I'm leaving work past 6:30ish but I don't think its that bad around the Framingham area.

I wish, brother. I wish. At least Madelyn Marie goes both ways.

In a similar vein, I got my hands cut up tonight in a fight with my friend's cat. Pussy had it coming.

At least no one there had the foresight to yell "serpentine." You'd have to burn your clothes after that.

Yes is it. It's certainly better than the Noble Pils bullshit from last year (although I'm still pissed they got rid of the White Ale).

Oh, and fucking win!

The good news: I get to watch the Bruins today despite the fact that they're on the NHL Network and usually I'd be blacked out! The bad news: The reason I get to watch the Bruins is that I get Root Sports Pittsburgh. The worst news: Bob Errey and Paul Steigerwald.

I wonder who scores first: Scott Gomez or Zach Hamill.

I'll trade your Errey/Steigerwald to having to listen to Jack Edwards on the NHL Network.

Not to get all EV on you, but this season can be pretty easily separated into three stages: the slow start, the dominance, and the regression.

The fourth stage starts today.

I'm not sure what this means. Do you want to listen to Jack or not? It's kind of ambiguous in my interpretation.

Maybe it's just me, but all I can find is a stream with Swedish announcers. Not as good as Jack Edwards, but way better than Errey/Steigerwald.

The contrast between him along the boards versus the similarly diminutive (and injured to boot) Peverley is staggering
