Anytime you can have Steve Novak take your last shot... YOU DO IT

Serious Clipper/Vietnam flashback. I wonder if Novak's alarm clock is "STEVE GET IN THERE!!!" in Mike Dunleavy's 4th qtr voice?

According to the boxscore, Novak was in the game only for that last play. I guess someone had to get open. Suck it, NY.

C's are gonna get smoked in the playoffs with tired KG as their best big. Need somebody capable of double digit boards.

Yep, but I don't want them compromising their cap space or 2 picks ( even if they're heading for 17 and 25 ) to get a Kaman or whoever. I don't know how they can do it......

There's a great Simmons article from a few years back about this apparently commong practice of bringing in a completely cold Novak for the last shot.

Best chance is a buyout who will latch on for the minimum. The C's can't offer much, except a starting gig.

Mike Dunleavy and Mike D'Antoni do an excellent duet version.

Take the win. First of two bitter ones New York fans will have to endure this weekend.
