Yep, it's Tuesday. I'm treating the gamethread rules like the Patriots defense treated Ray Rice.

Stage 1: The Turnaround. Complete.
Stage 2: The Momentum Builder. Complete.
Stage 3: The Defensive Posture. Complete.
Stage 4: The Don't Overlook Game. Complete.

Stage 6: The Stop the Tebow Nonsense Game. Complete.
Stage 7: The Saturday Game. Complete.
Stage 8: The Number 1 Seed Game. Complete.
Stage 9: The End the Tebow Season Game. Complete.
Stage 10: The AFC Supremacy Game. Complete.
Stage 11: The NFL Supremacy Game.

There is only one acceptable way for this to end. The glorious, ultimate vindication of Dogman2. Pats by 6.

Ridley says he will be active for Super Bowl

Quote

"[Coach Bill Belichick] really didn't say much (before the AFC Championship game)," Ridley said at Media Day inside Lucas Oil Stadium on Tuesday. "That's just kind of how coach Bill works. He's not really gonna explain anything. He's just going to make his coaching moves and we just have to kind of follow suit. For us we just have to go out there and do what he tells us to do."

Ridley was looking forward to getting a second chance in New England's biggest game of the season.

"This game I'm gonna be dressed and out on the field," Ridley said, "so hopefully I'll get some carries."

Scarnecchia says Vollmer will play

Quote

INDIANAPOLIS -- Patriots offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia told WEEI.com Tuesday that starting offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer, who has missed the last seven games with back and foot injuries, will play in Super Bowl XLVI.

"He'll play. He'll play in this game at some point, whether we have Nate [Solder] outside or him at tackle," Scarnecchia said, according to reporter Christopher Price. "He's going to be out there, and thank God we've got him."

Fuck the Giants and their smug, balding, inbred fans and media fanboys and shit-stirrers. I look forward to Mad Dog Russo the day after a NYG defeat, just like 10/21/2004.

I was completely pessimistic about this team's chances for a win last week. Now I want nothing more than for Tom Brady to show up and absolutely shred this defense, ergo:

I still can believe this is the Pats 5th time to the Super Bowl in 10 years. Enjoy it folks.

I hope Ocho gets more downs. I think he'll come up big.

Ive gone from worried to pretty convinced this is a Pats blowout. Only way a 22nd ranked defense by DVOA could get more overhyped at this point is if they hired a Ryan brother to stalk the sidelines and look fat all game.

I'm in the same boat, if the Pats OL plays as they should they should be able to slow down the giants DL enough to let Brady expose the LBs and DBs of the Giants.
