The Pats are winning this game for Myra.

Roger is going to hand the trophy to Bob, who will be crying like a baby, and we will all post in this very thread 'Getting dusty in here.' Quote this post, it will happen and it will be awesome. The Pats are winning this game.

Oh, don't forget that someone will ask if Kraft is drunk.

Fuck it,

Pats by ten, the amount of disrespect being thrown the pats way by the MSM is insane, Gronk will be 95% of his usual self and Vince Wilfork will destroy the Giants OL.

The Manning face needs a makeover, do we not need a new manning face? We Do, we need a new Manning face with 20% more torment, 30% more bewilderment, and 100% more humility.
Is that too much to ask? is it really?

Edit: overhaul

There is the potential for double-Manning face in this game. I don't know what that will do to the universe, it might be like "don't cross the beams", but dammit, I want to find out.

This is a great start, but needs ~50% less smug. Somehow the smug is still there. He still gives off an air that "this stinks, but i'm ok". I was thinking of a 2+ INT in the super bowl type face, to Sterling Moore no less. that kind of face. I would definitely settle for a "i've been running from a relentless Vince Wilfork all day Manning face", yeah, that would suffice...

Giants fans were heckling my family members in the Newark airport as they were flying to the game. I won't envy any Pats fans in the NYC metro area if the Giants win. So they can't. Get it done, Pats.

I'm amazed at the number of experts picking the Giants and the general confidence of the Giants fans.

It's gotten to the point where I'm glad. It's going to fire the team up.

Many of the "bad" teams that the pats were beating down the stretch were very, very frisky when they played the Pats.

The last 8 games the Pats played were against:
  • The Eagles who had just beat the Giants and went on to win 4 of their last 5 games.
  • The Colts who went on to win 2 of their last 4, including losing a must lose game.
  • The Redskins who beat the Giants the very next week.
  • The Broncos who had won 6 straight going into the game.
  • The Dolphins who were in the midst of winning 6 of their last 9.
  • The Bills- eh, whatever. They went down early 0-21 and went on to destroy the Bills scoring 49 unanswered.
  • The Broncos- again, whatever. The Pats destroyed them.
  • The Ravens who were considered by many to be the better team.
The Giants were every bit as "lucky" to beat the 49ers as we were to beat the Ravens. Props to the Giants for playing their best game of the year against the Pack and getting lucky against the 49ers.

If these two teams played 10 times as they're currently constituted, I think the Pats win 6-7 out of 10 times.

That being said, the only thing that would really surprise me at this point would be a blowout win by the Giants. Everything else seems to be in play. I'd love a blowout win. I have friends coming over and I'm not as much fun to be around when the game is close. When the refs inevitably blow a call against the I'm a whiny, miserable bitch.

Going to the B's/Caps game early on Sunday Bowl Sunday in full "FUCK YOU I'M FROM BOSTON" gear; Bruins shirt, Sox hoodie, Pats hat. Here we go.

That's what I call either "taking you full Masshole" or "the four lane swing on I-95" (if you throw a celtics jersey on to boot).

The longer I stew on it, the more I'm convinced the Pats are going to destroy the Giants.

I predict a very close game at halftime with the Pats pulling way, way ahead in the 3rd and early 4th quarter. The Giants will make it a little more interesting toward the end of the game but it'll be too little, too late.

I don't know what people without 3 kids to chase around all weekend are going to do to kill the time. I have some grocery shopping and house cleaning to do. The time for redemption is creeping closer.

The wait for this game is like waiting for Christmas when you were a kid.

I can't stomach any more coverage. No fresh angles left to discuss. Everything is just recycled BS x10 at this point.

My prediction is that we are discussing when they take out Brady and let Hoyer have a few snaps by mid 4th quarter.

I have to leave at halftime to head into work, then watch the rest of the game there so if the Pats win I can put out and sell championship merchandise immediately after. Don't make me piss away the second half of a Super Bowl sitting in a sporting goods store watching the game on a crappy 20 inch TV hanging about the register for nothing. Murder them.

I quite literally don't understand how that is even possible.

Bruins pre-game just had several players wishing the Pats good luck.

The segment ended with Claude saying, "Good luck to the Pats... everyone here wants them to win. Any guys that didn't? We traded 'em. They're gone."

HCFF, Clayton, Mangini, and Gruden have come out today for the Pats. Our little secret here is no longer, but the groundswell is still with the Giants by a large margin. When my Jets friend who HATES the Patriots tells me that he's rooting for NE because of the arrogance of the Giants and their team, that "disrespect facotr" will be ten-fold in the Patriots locker room.
