What I'm really pissed about is that I don't have a friend who is completely fluent. They didn't even look at my ID to make sure it was me. Should have called in a ringer.

That said, Corvo, Hamill, Kelly for Iginla, Bouwmeester, and a 1st. No, I didn't look up the salaries, yes, that will never happen, but goddammit it makes me happy in the pants.

I can't see Claude starting his ostensible backup against the Rangers on Saturday though. I'll bet he gives Thomas both starts. Which is poopy considering how awful Thomas looked in Florida.
I don't know... The recent usage pattern seems to show that they look at Tuukka as a 'backup' in title alone, more like a #1 and 1A. Does anyone feel like we're losing anything by having Tuukka in there as opposed to Thomas? With this crazy stretch of games (and then Timmy having to travel to the ASG whether he gets used or not) they HAVE to build in some time off for him. I will be really disappointed if they go to him on back-to-back days.

I'll be stunned if Thomas starts the Rangers game. Claude went to Tuukka at home against Detroit for the high profile, national TV game on Black Friday. So I think he's got no problems going to Tuukka in big games.
Thomas has had success in New Jersey over his career, as well as in Philly (I honestly can't remember the last time Thomas lost in Philly). Tuukka, albeit a SSS, has done well against the Rangers. There is a method to Claude's madness here.

Brodeur is in net for NJ.
Enjoy another 6 goals.

From one armpit of the east cost to the other. Jersey is one of the few places that is actually a downgrade from Central Florida. Let's get back to form like the last trip here and drop a 6 spot on them.
I quibble. Much of central Florida is, as you say, an armpit - but the one exception is Tampa itself, which has a nice downtown and water and shit.
I feel a goal for Balls in this game.
Well, that would be only appropriate tonight.....

from his effort tonight it seems he got his two goals the other night and can coast for a while nowHorton with the bold decision to play neither the puck nor the man behind him.

He's had a couple scoring chances tonight too. I know he fucked up on that play (along with three other guys) but he hasn't been horrible tonight either.
