And to be honest, as much as I love him, there is hardly a difference between JO and Perk. They are very similar players in many ways.

Over the last 1+ season, Perk has been terrible. Any weakness at center this team currently has would be no better if Perk was here. Not sure if he still has room to get better from his knee injury, but to be honest, I think he is just a very mediocre player at this point. His only real skill is defending one of the 3 good post centers left in the league.

If Avery Bradley didn't exist, I would be hard pressed to find someone who has played worse than Marquis Daniels has this season. Guy has been horrific

Bradley is at least consistent on the defensive end. We need veterans in right now over Moore, he just isn't ready. I like him down the road but not in tonight's game.

There are no veterans to put in. Moore hasn't hit his shots, but he is a decent shooter unlike Bradley.

Moore also can dribble. With Dooling out, the backup guard has to be able to bring the ball up the court, which disqualifies Bradley from consideration

I don't understand how you think that creating your own shot and dribbling will help the Celtics when he is clearly timid and out of his element right now. Daniels has been able to play the point and he would be a much better fit in the 4th.

I am not basing much into a players performance when he has missed his last eight shots heading into tonight and hardly gets the opportunity to shoot in the first place. Daniels has played well tonight, 4 points 6 rebounds in 12 minutes. Three turnovers but they were aggressive, which is something you apparently love.

I don't even like him or dislike him, yet. I just have seen enough of him to know he can dribble the ball up the court. That already makes him the winner of the backup PG spot right now. He had a few open shots and didn't make them, but he clearly is a better shooter than bradley as well
