He's back.... Wonder how he'll be received. Wonder if he'll play his old teammates tough....

I'm feeling really good about tonight's game. Don't really know why, but they'll play their best game tonight.

I'm feeling pretty good about this game as well. But I should note, I'm rooting for the Celtics to lose.....

Pretty sure he will get a huge ovation and will play very, very tough.

Can't believe the line is only Thunder -2.5 . Did the team get young and in shape over night?

Sharp ball movement like that is the only way this offense is going to be effective beyond Rondo.

Terrible call, no foul on that.

Why are we guarding Durant out by midcourt? That only expedites the act of getting by his man.

Rondo is going to be hobbling around with a cane by the all star break.

It's been 6 minutes in and you can tell that the offense has better flow, people do the extra pass, try to drive to the basket, while the defense is much more crisp than in previous efforts. The finishes aren't there and some of it is that people are older, but this team is better than it has played so far.

JO is worse than useless on offense. He actively gets in the way of everything. We might be better off 5 on 4 sometimes

Kevin Harlan is insufferable. Westbrook puts in another shot!!! (it was his first basket, making him 1-4 at the time Kevin)

Watching him try to back down Sefalosha (?) in the paint just now was brutal.

The C's look like a 30-and-over rec league team that goes 3 pt line to 3 pt line because they can't get up the floor. No athleticism whatsoever.

WTF is Pierce doing? Rondo just got him a wide open 3, and he drove into the heart of the defense. Got bailed out by a bad call, but he is so out of sync.

Down only 8. Great for when they get their 2nd wind, they'll be ready to make a huge push.

Another stellar effort so far. Shoot 30%, allow the other team over 50%, at home. 20 points is a great qtr for this team. Fuck these guys.

Rondo is a better player but can only succede with competant coaching with an effective offensive scheme. Like this, where every play is a mess and no one can score, he's not going to do a whole lot.

Dude, the horse is dead. Let it go. Unless MarShon Brooks knows the location to the Fountain of Youth, he's not the answer for this team anyway.

Can't even blow it it. Could they get anything for anyone other than Rondo?

This may be the most depressing Boston team I can remember.

I think the C's could use a rookie averaging 15 at a game, but fair enough. Aging is obviously the teams biggest issue but I think it's fair to acknowledge that Ainge has shit the bed the past few years which hasn't helped. Just venting at this shit show.

They could, but when they drafted Brooks, they already had Pierce, Allen and Bradley on the roster with Green and Daniels on the way back, too. What minutes was Brooks going to get? And who knows, maybe Ainge and the C's scouts saw something in Brooks' game they didn't like—his defense, his passing, something. Giving him up certainly looks like a mistake now, but I doubt it's one that'll haunt the franchise forever.

But man, is it sad to see how this team has aged in dog years.

Fair enough, Dart. If the team is going to suck, it would at least be nice to have someone to get irrationally excited about....Bradley, Moore, Johnson don't do it for me, and I really don't get why Daniels or Pavlovic are even here.

Green injury was killer.

Go deep into your memory. I'm sure you can find plenty of Celtics teams in the last 15 years that were more depressing.

Honestly, it's probably good. Jeff Green wasn't going to save this team. If Ainge somehow nails the draft(ok, not happening) and Geen comes back, maybe they can be relevant next year?

I'm gonna keep telling myself that.

Thank goodness Perkins is playing for the Thunder. He's keeping us in the game. It would be tied if Rondo could make a fucking layup.

This team still has something. They look pretty strong on the defensive end of things but on the other end they aren't getting good bounces. They have had a lot of open looks that just haven't gone down. Bass has missed a few open jump shots this half and Rondo has missed a few layups that haven't gotten the role. It does look like KG, Pierce and JO are really going to need to power through to score but an extra bounce here or there has this game tied.

And to be honest, as much as I love him, there is hardly a difference between JO and Perk. They are very similar players in many ways.
