I'm feeling really good about tonight's game. Don't really know why, but they'll play their best game tonight.
I'm feeling pretty good about this game as well. But I should note, I'm rooting for the Celtics to lose.....

He's back.... Wonder how he'll be received. Wonder if he'll play his old teammates tough....
Pretty sure he will get a huge ovation and will play very, very tough.

Watching him try to back down Sefalosha (?) in the paint just now was brutal.JO is worse than useless on offense. He actively gets in the way of everything. We might be better off 5 on 4 sometimes

Rondo is a better player but can only succede with competant coaching with an effective offensive scheme. Like this, where every play is a mess and no one can score, he's not going to do a whole lot.Westbrook is better than Rondo. There, I said it.

I'm counting this game as a victory regardless of the final score.

Dude, the horse is dead. Let it go. Unless MarShon Brooks knows the location to the Fountain of Youth, he's not the answer for this team anyway.FYI, MarShon Brooks with 19 points and 8 boards tonight.

Irrational exuberance. It's been 6 minutes in and you can tell that the offense has better flow, people do the extra pass, try to drive to the basket, while the defense is much more crisp than in previous efforts. The finishes aren't there and some of it is that people are older, but this team is better than it has played so far.

This may be the most depressing Boston team I can remember.

I think the C's could use a rookie averaging 15 at a game, but fair enough. Aging is obviously the teams biggest issue but I think it's fair to acknowledge that Ainge has shit the bed the past few years which hasn't helped. Just venting at this shit show.

10 points in 6 minutes this quarter.
In other words, a completely average offensive quarter for us

They could, but when they drafted Brooks, they already had Pierce, Allen and Bradley on the roster with Green and Daniels on the way back, too. What minutes was Brooks going to get? And who knows, maybe Ainge and the C's scouts saw something in Brooks' game they didn't like—his defense, his passing, something. Giving him up certainly looks like a mistake now, but I doubt it's one that'll haunt the franchise forever.I think the C's could use a rookie averaging 15 at a game, but fair enough. But man, is it sad to see how this team has aged in dog years.

Green injury was killer.

Can't even blow it it. Could they get anything for anyone other than Rondo?
This may be the most depressing Boston team I can remember.
Go deep into your memory. I'm sure you can find plenty of Celtics teams in the last 15 years that were more depressing.

Fair enough, Dart. If the team is going to suck, it would at least be nice to have someone to get irrationally excited about....Bradley, Moore, Johnson don't do it for me, and I really don't get why Daniels or Pavlovic are even here.
Green injury was killer.
Honestly, it's probably good. Jeff Green wasn't going to save this team. If Ainge somehow nails the draft(ok, not happening) and Geen comes back, maybe they can be relevant next year?
I'm gonna keep telling myself that.
