If you are a member and are having issues

Open up a ticket here ==> SoSH Support. Try not to email or PM folks -- a lot of our emails are not monitored on a regular basis. We used to have some issues with the subscription system, which have since been resolved.

I am a member but I can't post everywhere

Then you are probably not subscribed.  Please subscribe using the link above.  100% of subscription revenue goes to paying for server costs, hosting and software.  Anything left over is sent to the charity of SoSH's choosing annually.

 

I am an approved member but can't afford a subscription

That's no problem, just PM a Dope/Mod of your choice and we can manually approve your account.

 

I am 12

We post lots of bad stuff.  Like a real lot.  Come back in 6 years.  Over 18 and above.  If you sneak in and get caught by mom then only you are to blame.  You should be outside playing anyways.

Might need to reiterate -- this is the *only* way that I can respond to you about account issues. There are just too many other avenues (multiple emails, PMs, etc) that exist that I can't keep track of issues otherwise, and was going crazy trying to.

I check in on tickets once a week so you might not get a response right away, but you will.

I don't mind paying twice (i actually paid three times, and disputed two, one was refunded) but i want my premier back and my bigger inbox please. and a pony.

I got an email today stating that my payment didn't go through for my subscription because of a failed credit card.

I looked it up in my checking and it says the payment went through on April 16th

Help?

Help. My sub remains screwed up even though I have received confirmation of payment. I have been relegated to "Member" status and can't post in a number of forums. Can I please please please get my old membership status back so I can post again. Thanks.

get a refund from paypal then subscribe again. This happens from the paypal side and why the system sucks so much.

Here is how to get a refund from paypal


o Log into your paypal account
o Find the transaction id from the payment (for instance, 4H679114VV008252X)
o Visit https://www.paypal.c..._complaint-view
o Click the "report a problem" tab
o Click the "report a problem" button
o Click "item dispute" NOT "unauthorized transaction", even if you believe we charged you without your permission. We did not. Paypal does not allow this to happen. PM a Geek for more information.
o Enter in the transaction ID
o Choose "I haven't received my item"
o Choose "Virtual Goods - delievered automatically"
o In the box to explain, type "There was an error with the automatic subscription creation on sonsofsamhorn.net"

try again, someone trying locked up the system on paypal's side, they disabled us.

You guys, you REALLY need to open support tickets. I cannot track everyone's requests in the four or five different threads that we have going for random site questions. I wish there was a better way but I have a day job and there really isn't a better way to track stuff.

I sent a support request regarding my subscription on Jan 23 and received the automated response but I've not heard anything since. Can someone look into it please as I've not had access to most of the site since my previous subscription ended in October.

I'm in the same boat. Looks like my subscription expired early March and for some reason I wasn't automatically re-upped by PayPal like I have been in past years.

 

I'd like to resubscribe. I will send a support request.

 

EDIT: Just renewed via Paypal payment.

I opened a ticket and I think we foudn the issue.  Resubscribing for those people who could not find invoices previously should now be working.

 

To  confirm rather than direct to menu items, etc http://sonsofsamhorn.net/store is where you go.
