Up next: Carolina. The last time these two teams met Boston's frustration boiled over, resulting in an instigator penalty for Chara and an unnecessary fighting/misconduct penalty for Horton.

But that was an eternity ago, well before the Bruins turned on Beast Mode.

Kill them. Stampede their people. Rape their cattle.

Sharktopus.

Claude: What is best in life?

Bruins: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.

You know, NHL has its problems, but as far as competitive balance is concerned it is so far ahead of MLB and the NBA it's not even funny,

No, really, I'm not watching the B's tonight. Who wants to watch Carolina anyway.

This choice would be a lot harder if they were playing Vancouver again, I'm not going to lie.

Weak. B's or death, this should be a bloodbath without Skinner/Pitkanen.

The Patriots get the intermissions. That's about it.

Maybe not even that.

There are so many commercials during an NFL game that it's possible to catch a ton of B's action still.

I'll be watching both for sure. Bruins for the first hour, then game scores and timeouts dictating which one gets full screen vs. PIP. Gotta love being able to rewind on live tv. Only downside is that to do so I have to watch the Canes broadcast rather than streaming NESN. I'd like the 4 lines to build up an early lead so that switching back and forth is less pressure-packed. 2 Us , 2 Ks 2 Points, plus holding home serve in Foxboro please.

After their last couple of steaming dumps in the playoffs, the Pats gotta earn my ad dollaz. See you in the second half ... go B's.

I ended up grabbing one of the monitors off my desk and hooked it up to my OTA receiver for the Pats.

Ah well.

Also, I'm surprised at how much less douchey this teem feels than at the beginning of the season. Not being 3-and-terrible probably helps.

Skinner/Pitkanen/Larose being out helps greatly - though John Forslund can make any evening miserable.

I would give up Hamill and Kampfer solely for Corvo to be off this team. Give a 3rd for Marc-Andre Bergeron, I don't care - just so long as I don't have to see Corvo suck dogshit on a nightly basis.

Hey now, let's not be reactionary. MAB would probably be worse.

Or, you know. Not.
