@SherrodbCSNA. Sherrod Blakely

Story on Sheed's (possible) return to Beantown will be up on #CSNNE.com shortly.

Sheed was actually Plan B after Sherman Douglas wouldn't return their calls.

I'm feeling the need. Center depth on this team is awful. The only problem is that there are other teams out there more appealing for an old, out of shape, mediocre rebounder who likes to shoot 3s than an aging sub-.500 team. Think he still lives in the area, tho.

I'd rather have Kyrolo Fesenko.

He really wasn't very good when he at least had had a few instances of basketball to keep him sharp and in shape. I have to think he'll be really bad now, there really must be a better option somewhere, and it's not like we look poised to make a title run right now.

You know things are bad when this question can't be dismissed without at least some thought.

It's early, but I don't recall a worse rebounding Celtics team in my lifetime. I've probably blocked out a few of those lost years, and it's not as if the Celts rebounded well in any of the last three years. But so far...shockingly bad on the boards.

Celtics say no. Probably hoping for Przybilla.

It's truly baffling that he's unemployed.

Sheed and Artest Metta World Peace in the same locker room is going to end hilariously.

So is this the first domino in a Gasol trade?

Do you guys seriously believe a FA retiree signing is the make-or-break piece to trigger a franchise-defining trade? Christ.

I look forward to seeing Rasheed's titties flopping down the court in the second half of this season.

I look forward to seeing Kobe watch in disbelief when Sheed keeps chucking 3 point bricks.

PJ Brown says hi...Celtics don't win 2008 without his clutch play. But I agree Sheed means nothing to the Lakers in terms of Gasol being dealt.
