Van Gundy was right, the level of play so far this season really sucks. lack of a pre-season, too many back to backs, etc. seems like a lot of veterans are way behind or cant keep up. look at Dirk, he's been shit so far this year too. this season certainly favors teams that are young and deep.

If it wasn't sad, it would be very funny to watch Bradley play NBA basketball

I thought Moore was goimg to be taking Bradley's minutes, can that start now?

and brooks for johnson was not danny's finest moment.

Doc's got a lot of work to do this year, this team needs lots of hand-holding.

Let the numbers do the talking.

His rebound rate sucks, worst of his career

I understand that his numbers are on the decline but Garnett is still very productive. There is also a great lack of a strong rebounder on this roster. Garnett has never been a strong power forward and now with the lack of height and power around him, its hard for him to make up all of the ground. There is a lot more wrong with the Celtics bigs than Garnett. If anything, Garnett is saving them from horror in the front court.

This game is depressing.

Could Bass be the starting 4 on a championship team, if say he was the 5th best starter?

in terms of blowing it up, there seems like a non zero chance that playing with what they got may get them in the lottery anyways.

True, but it also gives them a great shot at the 15 range, which is worse than anything.

Mediocre? Our 4 wins are against teams with a combined 6-32 record. This is a lottery team that Danny has assembled.

The East is so bad that they'll be a 7 or 8 seed. Of course, that lands them Bulls or Heat in the first round. Either way, they'll be playing plenty of golf in June.

Danny can't land any stud by moving one of the Big 3 at this point so 'Blowing it up' is kind of moot.

Also, not a ton of shame in losing to the defending champs -- regardless of how they're playing.

I really feel like many of you are overreacting. Yes they have won four games verse sub par teams but they have come within buckets from beating both the Heat and Knicks are in a one or two possession game here with Dallas. You might think that this team looks old but there is a real possibility that this team is out of funk with a short preseason in which it is going to take this team a month or two to gel.

Step back KG, keep it going.

Ton of shame in being offensively inept, looking slow and getting out hustled after 4 days of rest.

The team is old. They look old on 4 days rest tonight and they will look much older later in the year during their 11 game in 15 nights with travel following every game stretch later this year.

How do they look old? They are in a dead lock with the Mavericks. Do the Mavericks look old? If they do, the Mavericks are going to be in the thick of things out West. Maybe it is that these are two very good teams going head to head in a game in which there is very little give.

Mavs are on the road
Mavs played last night got into Boston in middle of the night
Mavs opponent was well rested
Mavs got the short end of almost every call tonight

The score says even, this is not an even game when Dallas had everything going against them.

First Rondo gambles on a steal and leaves Terry wide open, now Pierce just leaves Terry a free lane to the hoop for a lay up.

Those 2 technical fouls are really helpful now.

They're not good enough anymore to give up free points.
