We have to have the worst 5-12 in the NBA. It can't be worse right?

Bass isn't bad, and perhaps Pietrus will be OK if he's semi-healthy. But our 7-12 are pretty pathetic. The Lakers' 7-12 might be worse, but not too many teams.

Have you seen the Nets or the Wizards?

Obvious exaggeration -- but for a playoff team they've got to be close to the bottom.

I would have no problem giving some of Dooling's/Bradley's minutes to Moore and finding some time for Jajuan Johnson.

Hard to imagine they could be much worse, and they at least have some degree of upside.

We are lucky to be only down by 5.

The team is aweful right now.

KG with the flop on defense. Wow that is sad to see.

Man that was cool.

If he looks like this after four days off...that's pretty much it.

I'm not getting the Bradley hate. He's bad on offense but his defense is legit. That compares well with, for example, Dooling who is useless on both ends.

Its definitely better than being bad at everything, I agree. But his "bad" offense isn't just bad. It's historically bad, with no signs of improvement. Degree of badness matters, its not a binary system unfortunately.

How long until the announcers realize the Celtics are playing zone? Been doing it for 5 possessions, and no one noticed?

Finally Jeff.......

KG's idea of rebounding in 2012 really is "lemme try to tip this to someone in green"

This is why Rondo breaks down after the ASB- he takes a beating nearly every game he plays.

They refuse to block out. It's hilarious. They have no athleticism and they still don't block out.

If Rondo were to suffer either an injury or an "injury", how many teams would be worse than us?

5?

Pretty amazing that this team won the Championship in 2008 with Rondo playing only a supporting role (and some games none at all).

This team would miss the playoffs without him, and likely be the lowest scoring team in the league.

Rondo's ability as a "one man fastbreak" may be taken a little too literally this season

If it makes you feel any better, the Hawks put up a 9-point 3rd qtr and will score just about as many in the 4th.

How does KG get a rebound under the hoop and end up taking a fadeaway from like ten feet away?

Terry just said during halftime that Rondo was the only Celtic playing with any energy and that the Big 3 were too old.

The sad thing is he is totally correct. :smithicide:

I started thinking about worse teams than C's minus Rondo and came up with Wizards, Nets, Kings, Bobcats, Pistons...........that's it really.

Nope it's just that this is a place to talk about the Celtics and their games, not comment on how unbearable the NBA is. Wise ass.

Why is everyone so critical of Garnett? I understand that he has lost a little bit of leap but he has 8 points 7 rebounds 3 assists and 1 block on the night. His rebound average on the year is quite strong as well. He has never been a physical player to begin and for some reason people think he is and has been.
