The quick kick has been around for decades. I've seen teams at multiple levels run it. If anyone thinks it was used to show up Denver then you don't understand football.
Here's a link that shows that Elway punted 7 times in his career. I distinctly remember that he quick kicked (at least) once on third down (hell, all of his punts may have been quick kicks). He was the first QB I ever saw that did it.

Do I really live in a world where some peole think a 3rd down pooch punt by the QB is "classless"? Really? A fucking PUNT???????
Amen.

Double amen.Amen.
Of course, any negative punt reaction is pure nonsense. But if it gives Denver fans or Patriots Haters something to bitch about, that's just awesome.
I've never enjoyed regular season football more than when the Patriots were absolutely destroying the field during the first half of 2007. We heard about how the Pats were classless then too. The Soap Boxers were in full swing.
Here's to a lot more of that.

Did anyone outside of this thread say anything about the punt?
FWIW, Berman and Jackson mentioned it briefly this morning. Botyh said the Pats could have scored 60 if they'd wanted to, so they had no problem with the punt

I thunk it was totally cheap and classless. It was done purely to shame the Broncos.
The headline could have read 'Brady Breaks Post-season TD Pass Record v. Broncos'
But instead it reads
'Brady Ties Post-season TD Pass Record v. Broncos'
How embarrassing for the Broncos.
They should have run up the score... It would have been much more classy.

Seriously this. The league better hope Bill and Tom don't hear this "classes" nonsense or they'll play for 70 next time they're up against an SEC team.FWIW, Berman and Jackson mentioned it briefly this morning. You live in a world where people don't know what they're talking about.

Can't wait to hear from pariahs like Skip Bayless and Woody Paige.
Not for nothing, but this word might mean something other than what you think it means.

Gronk's Elbow
Looks like my Lab's elbow. Gronk probably sleeps on his too often as well. Similar mentality, but my Lab's not quite as agile as Gronk.
