These offenses generate a lot of yards against mortal teams - they don't get enough possessions to put up 50+ points, especially in the second halves when they are in pure clock grinding mode but they've both put up ~40 against all comers which is a lot of points for these types of teams.

Alabama's defense has totally overwhelmed LSU. Alabama usually gives up any yardage in the first half and then totally shuts down the other team after halftime adjustments. It will be interesting to see what they do now 'cause LSU hasn't given them anything to adjust so far - that may give Miles the advantage in the second half.
