I know, it's not good to overlook teams but seriously, these are the Nets w/out Deron Williams & most likely Kris Humphries. This should be a bloodbath.

Win, because I like cake.

Keep the winning streak alive. These are the games during the course of this season that every competitive team needs to win.

With Brook Lopez out too, Marshon Brooks will lead the Nets. Well, New Jersyites can take solace the Seton Hall beat UConn last night.

Hopefully the C's can get out to a big lead early so they can rest their starters and get major minutes to Moore, Bradley, Johnson, and company.

The Nets have lots of guys fighting for minutes. They may not play well, but they will play hard.

Nets will be missing Deron Williams, Brook Lopez and Ms. Kardashian so this game should be a cake walk.

That being said, we typically play to the level of our competition so I expect this to be a close game.

Grande is reporting that Allen is out tonight due to flu-like symptoms.

Dooling to start at SG.

Also means Avery Bradley may play a prominent role in this game. Wouldn't take a W for granted.....

With Ray out, I'd like to see E'Twaun get some play. I haven't seen him play, yet, in the small amount of C's I've seen this year. For that matter, I'd like to see JaJuan get some minutes, as well.

On pace for an 84-48 victory.

So the Nets are moving to Brooklyn ... maybe if Larry King is successful buying the Dodgers he might move them back for a complete Flatbush revival.

I simply cannot describe how bad of a player Bradley is.

I'd rather have Orien Greene or JR Bremer back on this team.

There are two ends to a basketball court. Offense and defense. Right now Bradley plays amazing defense and that is half the game. Just as important as offense and to this team probably a strong need considering the offensive threats that they have.

Bradley looks like he can generally defend opposing backup point guards pretty well. That's fine I guess and maybe he'll build up to being able to defend starting points someday. Unfortunately that's probably the best we can hope for because he's too small to guard bigger players.

Jermaine is such a fucking chump. For a guy who used to be so good, it fucking sucks watching him play.

Why didn't we keep Brooks?

I wonder what's going through Danny's head as he watches Brooks (whom he traded for JuJuan Johnson) score at will.

Brooks would look good in a Celtics uniform right about now.

It feels fitting - given all the near-trades that didn't happen for the C's this offseason - that Ainge appears to have gotten lucky in drafting in actual player with a late first rounder but traded him away for someone who can't get any burn.

Just a second ago you and many others were clamoring over Brooks. On that last possession Bradley shut him down and forced him into a fade away baseline jumper. You can't have it both ways. How bout you look at it the other way...Bradley is still one of the youngest players in the league, younger than the latest draft pick Moore, and clearly possesses a strong defensive game. Give this guy some time, jeeze.

Ray Allen is sick.

So others will have to pick up the scoring slack.

Garnett is 4-5, Pierce is 5-9. So far so good.

The rest of the team is 4-20.

Get well, Ray Allen.

How can you judge such a trade that is only a few weeks into the season? Brooks is playing a ton of minutes for a terrible team, of course he is going to look good at times. Conversely, Johnson is playing for a contending team with about five established power forward/center players. 6'11 big men with 7'2 wing spans don't come around often, shooting guards are a dime a dozen. You make that trade every day of the week even if you have to wait a few years for your big man to develop. Good thing you guys weren't judging Stiemsma.

Rajon needs to stay aggressive because without him driving the lane there's no rhythm right now.

I think it really goes to show you that the big three are incredibly valuable to this team. Rondo makes this team go but the big three are just as valuable. We have seen how stagnant this team can be without both Pierce and Allen, and Garnett is putting in a very well balanced year. Pray for health.
