People need to stop pretending Avery Bradley is a basketball player.

Have the Celtics scored one in rhythm basket with Avery Bradley on the court this year?

Bass is making Blazers era Zach Randolph look positively pass-happy.

Jeff Green's broken heart is a killer for this team. Instead we get Daniels missing several open shots a game and Dooling wildly jacking up threes. The bench could really have used him this year.

While Green would have provided a fresh set of legs, he couldn't have guaranteed consistent scoring. Throughout his career, the only thing consistent about Jeff Green has been his inconsistency.

Truly, and Garnett makes the extra pass to get Allen's defender back on his heels trying to react. Open three-pointers are good for the geriatric skill players.

There's a touch of Jack Sikma's look (minus the turnaround) in Stiemsma.

Bass is so reliable with that midrange shot. Baby cannot do that anywhere near as consistently.

Garnett and his long-range jumper, and now Bass and his jumper, make this team difficult to keep from scoring. When they have bad shooting nights, things could get real ugly.

Jeff Green has put up pretty much the same numbers every year since his rookie year, including his time with the Celtics. He's not the exact same player from game to game because nobody is, but he'd be a massive improvement as a bench scorer who could also play with the starters without looking inept.

Garnett's shot off the dribble has improved this year, and he's taking it more often. He knows the team needs him to shoot more.

Since we are now in the year 2012, might it be possible to update the title of the Celtics game thread?
