I didn't realize that Gordie Howe only had two Gordie Howe hat-tricks.

That's kind of interesting.

What did Doc say? Shanahan has 15?

Edit and apology for laziness:

17....

17 I think.

Lucic could be up there when all's said and done.

Pierre sounded shell-shocked when he was talking about how bonerful the Bruins are.

I like this.

Confusing Lucic and Seguin is hilarious. This has gone too far. They have nothing in common except that they are both Canadian hockey players for the Boston Bruins.

That was fun. And we didn't have to run anyone into the ground so we should be relatively fresh in front of Tuukka tomorrow. Couldn't have asked for a better start to the year.

It's a flawed stat, of course, but with Krejci going +1 tonight, and Horton +2 both guys move to E on the year. The B's do not have a single minus player on their roster. Bartkowski's -2 in 3 games is the only blemish.

Trying to imagine how good this team will be once Horton comes all the way back and becomes Mean, Goal-Scoring Horton again. Seen flashes here and there, but that first line hasn't been scary good yet. It seems impossible to suggest the team can get better, but it can.

I saw a ridiculous stat this morning. If you took just the Bruins 3rd period goal differential they'd still be 3rd in the league at +32. That's insane.

The puck is flying out of Brodeurp's crease on almost every save.

Going back and reading through this thread this morning, for some reason I had a brain moment and read the word 'crease' as 'corpse'.

It works.

Oh, and :fap:

The Bergeron (edit) 'near' shorty was fun. It's possible the 'classic' version of Brodeur would have been undressed on that one. Shimmy, deke, to the glove side.

I need to move on...
