Spikes doesn't surprise me but Chung... at this point I'm beyond even speculating about him. He'll be back by next year, anyway....

It IS New Year's next Sunday.

EDIT - BTW, it's gotta be a thrill for Cannon to get his first start - pretty unbelievable, considering we thought this year would be a wash for him.

Solder at LT, Cannon at RT...who is our 2nd TE for the heavy sets?

I think it's time you learned the truth about Chung.

I assume you mean third TE, but I think they'll either not use the package or rotate Connolly in at G while Waters kicks to the tackle. Probably the former.

EDIT - Maybe Donald Thomas? Totally forgot about him - he's the reserve tackle today.

Reiss' take: Light looked 'uncomfortable', and he wouldn't be surprised if they shut him down until the playoffs. Re. Chung: thinks they're playing it extra-safe.

Per Breer, Light has an ankle injury.

I really don't think of Hernandez as our 2nd TE, but I concede the point. Would be interesting to see waters slide to RT in those instances.

This Chung situation is as weird of one as I've ever seen. I am starting to wonder if he injured it worse when he was warming up for the second Jets game and they aren't going to play him until the playoffs(if at all). He practiced all week and was around for media availability which usually signals a player is going to play. Foot injuries are really fickle, but this is just odd.

That Soundtracks was great. BB tells Nink to not cover the TE and blitz and it worked perfectly. Brady is such a leader on the field too. That crack on Billy O'Brien was funny too.

When's the last time the Pats got the ball first? 2009?

Belichick challenges stupid plays. I mean even of he wins they are still in field goal range. He challenges this but won't challenge the Possible TD catch last week

I'm pretty sure he has people telling him when to challenge. And I really doubt they would have overturned the TD catch last week.
