Waiting until Friday for further hockey is not cool.

I'll be at TD for my second game of the year (first was the Bruin's first win of the year 4-1 vs the Lightning)

All I want for Christmas is a WIN.

Ok, the Montreal game is over. We need to get this thread going.

I have a job interview today that could change my life. It's a phone interview, which works in my favor..as I am very ugly and unbecoming. But I'm still nervous and have been losing sleep over it.

Wish me luck, RMPS'ers.

Email at work is so slow. Any action I take results in me waiting a full minute while it goes through.

Oh well, more time to browse the internet.

I've never heard of any kind of denizen being described as "fun-loving." The most likely pairing for the word "denizen" is "underworld."

Bad news for Bruins fans everywhere: I'm driving home to Massachusetts tomorrow.

Record when I'm not in MA: 20-3-1
Record when I'm in MA: 2-6-0

Chiarelli should set up a checkpoint at I-84 to keep me out of the state if he knew what was best for his hockey team.

I apologize in advance.

Best of luck. I hope you got the job!

Is it me or is it taking forever for this game to get here? I want revenge!

We get into PIT around 3:30. At the homestead 4:30ish. Plenty of time to nap, eat, and settle in for the game. Last night I checked the NHL net schedule and went from yay! (they have hockey on at 7!) to boo! (it's not the Bruins) in about 3 seconds. So looks like we'll be slumming it with a stream. Alas....

Here kitty kitty kitty...

That Thomas picture reminds me of this guy Barry from some years back. I've played recreational hockey for many years in my adult life. We had this guy on our team, Barry, and was obsessed with points. If he was on the bench, he would tell the ref he scored.
We played together for about four or five seasons and he came to every single game already dressed in his full uniform, including his ice skates and helemt. His Dad dropped him off just before game time and picked him up as the final buzzer went off. He was actually pretty good too!

Dressing at home bring back horrible memories of 5:30 am Monday morning practice in high school. We got half dressed at home because the rink owner didn't open the rink until fifteen minutes before we got on the ice. Driving with hockey pants was always a little weird.

In my first high school tryout my mom drove me to the wrong rink so I had to get dressed in the car while getting transported to the correct rink. It's not nearly as easy dressing in the backseat when you're no longer 8 years old.

Meting out some Nap-like justice in the rink stall with hockey pants on was never an easy task either.

Any word on who's in net? They don't play again until next Wednesday and obviously haven't played since Monday so rest shouldn't be an issue, but Tuukka hasn't played since the 13th.

Nagging injury, Claude said today they wanted to get him a full week or so of rest but that it was probably something they were going to have to manage all year.
