I think Kelly's playing on the 4th line tonight with Campbell out.

PEVERLEY!!!

Great shift from Hamill, awesome cycle.

Worth noting that it took one shift of Paille-Hamill-Thornton for Claude to swap Hamill and Kelly.

Makes sense. If you're going to play Hamill over Caron, you might as well put him in position to succeed.

Sweet backcheck by the Kings defenseman covering Peverley on the goal.

Well, Hamill on the 4th line also gave up a 2-on-0 that was only saved by Dustin Penner's horrific season.

Pass it to Hamill, Thornton.

Good job. This time, shoot Hamill.

Hamill back to the 4th line, guess he was just filling in for Kelly on the Peverley goal.

Hamill has been pretty impressive so far. Actually looking like a real hockey player.

If he keeps this up, Caron is going to get the chance to wear himself a Pruin sweater all over again.

I very rarely speak ill of a period that they won on the scoreboard, but jeez it really seems like they missed a golden chance to make this game an early laugher in the first 15 minutes.

No kidding, that is a trainwreck. I retract everything I said about a Corvo - McQuaid pairing.

Intermissions are 17 minutes long. Note the time when the period ends, and flip around to something else. That's what I do to avoid Dale Arnold and the 2 idiots they have on tonight.

It's tough on a night when Versus doesn't have a game on, however. Gamcenter it is.

I usually go play a game of NHL12. If I have a good game I can get a ragequit in 10 or so.

It seems like every time I play one that goes into the start of the next period, they score, so I might test that again after this period.

Yeah, it has been a while. There was the goal off the clean faceoff loss a few weeks ago, though.

Forget the Yankee Swap. I want to hear more about how to leverage modern timekeeping technology to know when intermissions are ending.

The Kings look absolutely pathetic. No energy whatsoever the day after their coach got fired, and the GM supposedly went into the room and tore them a new one.
