OK we're back on our main server.  It was taking a super long time to move *everything* back just to save a day's worth of messages.  I've been at this all day now and need to get back to my real job so.,... sorry.  Working on a better plan in case this happens again.  nip

Orioles GM Duquette said that he has not given up on bring in the Korean reliever Tae-Hyon Chong and wants to get the deal done by Christmas. Chong would become the first Korean ever to go straight from the KBO to the MLB.

"We are still trying to sign Chong," Duquette said. "He's got a good record and is an underarm pitcher. He's got terrific control and he succeeded in the World Games when they won the World Cup and he was also on the mound when Korea won the Olympics. So he is tested in international competition. That is taking a little longer, but we are still trying to sign him and hopefully we will have something before the Holiday."
