Ladies and Gentlemen of SoSH.

I'd like to introduce you to the 2010-2011 Stanley Cup Champions, the Boston Fucking Bruins.

Posted Image

You can't just stop being a bear because you want to. To a bear, being a bear is all they've ever known, and all they will ever know. Bear pride, and all that jazz. I feel the same way about these Bears. I've been raised on them, they've all I've ever known. And not even Dave Lewis can push me away from the only Bears I've ever loved (that sentence just got really weird.....)

I can still see the reasons
that I opened my eyes to this scene in the first place.
I can still feel my beliefs growing stronger - stronger everyday.

NOT GOING NOWHERE.

Bs have a chance here to cement the fact that they're the undisputed best team in the east right now (we already know this).

The absolute best games of the year for me are vs. Mon, PGH, PHI, and newly added this year; VAN. (though playing TOR more often might be profitable)

Last year we believed in beginner's luck, and at the ripe age of 4 months 12 days my son saw his team win the Stanley Cup. Tonight we continue the defense of our precious Cup. This game will not swing the season one way or the other, but God I love beating Pittsburgh.

Crush them like the cartoon depicts..

Why start now? I haven't been clicking on them throughout this streak, I'd hate to kill the mojo.

I love how page 1 of this forum is half TSC started threads. This must rank top 3 in the SoSH record books for consecutive game thread starts.

2007 Pats threads had more and will hold or be tied for the all time record for percentage of threads started by one poster in a single season at 100%, that's for sure. Not sure if there have been any Sox/Celts streaks that long, though. Didn't the '08 Celts win a bunch in a row?

'08 Celtics won 19(sachmoney) in a row, so 20 threads. Pats were all 19 games (Skrub) of the 18-1 season. So TSC has 5 more to hit 2nd place.

I think I had been first in RMPS with 11 threads in a row back in 08-09, and Titoschew had the great run last year too (how long was their streak last year? 8 games?). Nice run you have going here TSC, I'm certainly hoping it continues into the near future, I can't wait to see you find more Bane videos that I won't click on.

I believe you're going for sole possession of third tonight. mikeford had a 14 game win streak (15 games started) last year for the Celtics. I really want you to run out of Bane videos.

People at my work are exhibiting weapons-grade levels of stupid today. I have absolutely nothing to do because I'm waiting for my last project to be QA'd, and there's a pissing match between the DBA and QA that is delaying everything. I'd do the DBA's job and get everything set up, but I'd get yelled at for breaking protocol, not fixing the fucking logjam that he is on this.
Also, our "source control" guy constantly checks stuff into source control that causes builds to fail. There are companies where people in his position mandate immediate termination for doing what he's doing. I lose 10% of my time a WEEK because of these things.
All this boils down to the fact that I want to see someone check Matt Cooke so hard he somehow breaks the space-time continuum and is eaten by a dinosaur, or maybe a grue.

Sounds like my job. Except for the source control part. Mostly because I own that one, and don't ever touch it.

Just bought Skyrim for PS3... debating whether I should try to play for the next 30 minutes, then turning it off for the B's game, or just waiting until after the game to start playing.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to pull myself away. Bruins it is.

I did click on some Bane links with every intention of keeping my promise, and it was fine for a couple links, but then all the aural dissonance caused the earwax logjam to disintegrate, and I could actually hear.
That was that.

Looking forward to TSC's trust scold later on tonight.

While the B's PP was no great shakes by any means, the Pittsburgh PK is really really good. Overall no complaints so far, been really good in the D zone in limiting their opportunities.

And yes, the ice looks like crap tonight, must be something with the picture.

Wow Pitt is aggressive on the PK.

I am not sure why more teams don't play that way on the PK against the Bruins. Just challenge the point men and they don't seem to know what to do.

Corvo's having a rough night.

B's doing OK. I'll take the PP's, but I'd prefer the refs let them play tonight. I thought the Dupuis call was very marginal.
