TB: "Dude, you suck!"
TP: "I know! This game is really hard to play! Some of those big guys on your team really wanted to hurt me!"

Born and raised in Michigan... often speaks fondly of the Detroit/Michigan franchises. Went to Syracuse, so perhaps his allegiance has morphed (Gang Green his AFC team?).You sure? I thought I remember reading he was a jets fan last year.

My expectation is 45-3 Pats.
Anything less will be a disappointment.
Another shitty first quarter leads to my disappointment.

The first half of that game was just awful. A happy ending and all is well.

Interesting: Brady and BB seem to go out of their way to downplay Gronk praise.
Belichick just listed like 10 reasons why he is awesome and said everyone at Arizona loved him including Stoops.
That praise is usually reserved for opposition.

Gronk's got to have the IQ of a sponge, but the man can play football.
Yeah, I mean, we don't need Merton Hanks out there.

Yeah, that was surprising. BB rarely heaps that much praise on a player. Probably knows Gronk is concussed and isn't reading the paper in the morning.

Awesome. Maybe it's just Brady. On ESPN, Brady was asked by Suzy Kolber about why Gronk is a good player and said, "He can run..." stumbled, and then said basically nothing. When Gronk was asked about Brady in the interview afterwards, he was kind of in awe and talked about how Brady's always on him.
Edit: Brady just said in his press conference that "Gronk doesn't always come off as a math major." LOL.

Wilfork on postgame on NFLN asked if he was lobbying Belichick to somehow get him a chance for a TD. He said he found out about the Miami streak "late" and was just hoping somebody would lateral to him on one of the INTs. Big tribute to Pioli and Romeo for drafting him and coaching him in 2004. "They'll always be part of Patriot nation." Good dude there.
Good stuff.

Hopefully, it's not a high ankle sprain.Light is apparently in a boot, so he's likely got an ankle sprain - he got lucky, he easily could have blown out his knee with the way that injury happened

http://www.tsn.ca/nfl/story/?id=381012Gronkowski has 20 touchdowns in 26 games, surpassing Mike Ditka's mark of 31 for the fewest games needed by a tight end to reach 20 touchdowns. He also pulled within three of the single-season, tight end record of 13 touchdown receptions held by Antonio Gates of San Diego and Vernon Davis of San Francisco.

Dilfer not buying the Pats, thinks the Raiders can beat the Pats in the playoffs.
Lol the same Raiders team we crushed back in week 4from in Oakland. They are improved but not enough to beat a quality team on the road.

I know this was meant half-jestingly, but sometimes we really do sound like the Yankees Fans of the NFL.My expectation is 45-3 Pats.
Anything less will be a disappointment.
Not that I'm complaining about the circumstances that have sent our expectations so high.

It's just lazy adherence to default dueling narratives:Tirico had no fucking problem with the Packers running it up.
* The Packers are an old-school, small-town, almost mythical fan-owned organization that can do no wrong, even when the team runs up scores and its QB has a stupid "Discount Double-Check" TD move. And don't even think about flagging them for unsportsmanlike conduct for doing the lovable Lambeau Leap; they're just havin' fun with their loyal, blue-collar, huggable fans.
* The Pats are an evil empire led by a heartless coach who cheats and makes the other team feel bad by cruelly running up the score when he gets the chance. And don't even think about spiking the ball in the general vicinity of another player after a TD, as that is unsportsmanlike and makes the opposing player feel sad.
