Clock management fail. Although they might give them a second.

They should be docked a second for stupidity.

The announcers are completely ignoring the fact that his knee hit inbounds. Who cares where he landed? He was tackled inbounds.

Note to announcers: it doesn't matter what the official thought. That's the point of instant replay, to see where the knee hit.

Why is the band playing "The Kids Aren't Alright"? Seems very unfitting/depressing for a dramatic college football atmosphere.

That was the correct call.

Besides, I really wanted to watch these teams continue to play. I feel like I'm eating at Buffalo Wild Wings where the bartender has the secret panel of buttons.

I'm no rules expert. Was it because the hold was downfield?

I didn't see where the hold was, but if it was past the line of scrimmage, it'd be ten yards from the spot of the foul.

Ridiculous.

This game could very easily come down to who gets a lucky pick first

He has been bad all night, starting with the dead, awkward silence in the intro.

My brother-in-law's a USC alum, and he's at the game tonight.

I think I'll avoid calling him.

Until February.

I get a strong Vinny Testaverde vibe from him.

The Ramblin' Wreck is laying down a major asskicking on Clemson right now, 31-10 with 10:00 to play in the 3rd. GT has completed just 4 passes (attempting only 8) for 60 yards, but they've controlled the ball and time of possession with their running game (273 yards on 36 carries). Two fumbles lost by the TIgers haven't helped.

Shouldn't have even been as close as the 31-17 final, but I'll settle for a Homecoming game, 2-TD win over our undefeated, top-5 rival.

Despite the loss, Clemson is still firmly in the drivers' seat for the ACC Atlantic. Both Techs can win the Coastal by winning out, so the chances of a title game rematch between either GT or VT and Clemson. The big game is next Thursday between the Hokies and Jackets in Atlanta.

Edit: actually, if Virginia wins out they'd have the tiebreaker over GT.
