If you like to see two well-quarterbacked teams go against each other in an exciting, fast-paced offensive contest, don't watch the Auburn-Florida game. I am going to the game, and I am trying to prepare myself for the horror to avoid becoming catatonic while in the stands.

Go to the hard stuff early and often. It's days like to today where beer just isn't gonna do it.

Michigan looks sharp in their Retro uniforms. I hope they get their ass kicked while wearing them.

Addendum: Michigan State looks rather meh.

In 1999 Plaxico Burress guaranteed victory and beat Tom Brady in a big game? That must not happen often.

I know it's on all the time, but the Chrysler ad with "Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City" is great.

MSU's unis look a little like an Oregon version, except they rubbed mud all over them.

I love them. But I'm also a Duck alum.

With the stupid penalties and dropped passes by MSU I'm surprised Michigan isn't threatening more.

Urban Meyer is reacting to this game much like the guy in the Audi ad who watches the Honus Wagner ball get thrown to the dog. No doubt Meyer wouldn't have Denard playing flanker.

He would probably have him playing DB. Which I think was offered out of high school.

Denard is playing as bad as I've ever seen him today. He's tentative in everything he does. MSU is doing a great job of getting pressure on him and keeping him in the pocket.

Just let Denard run the ball or leave Gardner in for every snap... bc this is terrible

With that sucker punch, Michigan State demonstrates why it's impossible to cheer for them the 11 other Saturdays each season.

Unbelievable display of dirty football all day from this gang of thugs. Denard is the worst passing QB in major college football. If Tate were still around off the bench, we probably win this game.

Only about 5 yards past the line of scrimmage there.

Edit: Excuse me - 3 yards.

I blame Michigan's coaching staff for this loss, it was obvious from the beginning Denard couldn't complete anything today but yet they kept on calling pass plays for him.

I would love 7 personal fouls and multiple instances of clearly attempting to injure the opposing QB? No. Maybe that's how you roll in Nebraska, but that's not Michigan football and I would never want it to be.

They went too far today, into stupid territory, there's no doubt about that. The coaches can get them to dial that back. But I think the best defenses play with that nasty streak.

The difference between nasty and dumb in this case being whether Denard picked up on the CB blitz and converted the 4th and inches. If Michigan had won today, it would have been in spite of getting badly outplayed, and getting the win on the strength of penalties and turnovers.

You're a nasty defense when you win. You're an undisciplined defense when you lose.

Buckeyes are up 10-0 in the third against undefeated Illinois. Still, they have yet to complete a pass.
