I see this one as a tough one. Dallas needs a win to keep pace in the NFC East and the Pats are coming off an emotional (aren't they all against the Jets?) win against New York.
Pats in a squeaker.

In a change-up from the norm, the Patriots will wear their road white uniforms for Sunday's home game against the Cowboys at Gillette Stadium.

In this picture, he is wearing a Riddell Revolution Speed helmet. It is the best helmet to wear to try to prevent a concussion. He's been in a few different helmets this year as the one he wore forever(Riddell VSR-4) was deemed unsafe.Brady was wearing a different helmet and facemask at practice, wonder why.

Maybe because the Cowboys always wear white at home and the Pats want to put them in their road blues?
EDIT: More from Wikipedia: Throughout the years, the Cowboys' blue jersey has been popularly viewed to be "jinxed" because the team often seemed to lose when they wore them. This curse purportedly became popular after the team lost Super Bowl V, when they were forced to wear their colored jersey because they were the designated home team. However, the roots of the curse likely date back earlier to the end of the 1968 season when the blue-shirted Cowboys were upset badly by the Cleveland Browns in the divisional playoffs.
Seems like an awfully silly thing for the Pats to do, but whatever.

it's totally silly but they've done it before with both the 'Boys and the Dolphins. It's the Red Auerbachian part of the Belichick game planning, just tweaking the opponent a little bit. As a Patriots fan I love it.

Yeah, they did it in 2003 as well, wearing the now-extinct silver jerseysit's totally silly but they've done it before with both the 'Boys and the Dolphins. It's the Red Auerbachian part of the Belichick game planning, just tweaking the opponent a little bit. As a Patriots fan I love it.

As someone who was a misguided Cowboys fan as a kid, I can vouch for the bad vibes associated with the dark blue road unis. Of course, most of that stemmed from the fact that the 'Boys typically did not fare well during the 80s in places like RFK and Veterans Stadium. How awesomely petty. I don't think that will block Ware or teach 85 the playbook or anything actually important, but anything that pisses Jerry Jones off is ok in my book.
Definitely a silly piece of gamesmanship, but it's this type of goofy stuff that makes sports great.

I'm sure that BB, being the student of NFL history that he is, looks forward to this little piece of nonsense whenever he sees DAL on the schedule.
Whatever. I think that aside from the red unis, the Pats look best in the white ones, anyway.
If they can go into the bye, having weathered their early injury rash, at 5-1, I'd be very optimistic about the rest of the season. That home Buffalo game might end up being the biggest game of the season, and that's very bizarre.

I'd say both will play today, but don't expect many yards from the running game today. Dallas is #1 against the run.So, with Woodhead and BJGE both "questionable", what's the local thought up there on them? I have to imagine at least one of them is getting reps today.

True, but they weren't facing teams with really good passing attacks to keep them honest until last week against Detroit, and the Lions were down big and only ran 15 times.

SF/Det is on track to end about 4:30 at this rate.
Should catch the Pats around 7 minutes of the 2nd quarter.

10/13/11 - CB Ras-I Dowling is suffering from a hip injury that has limited his participation in practice this week. He'll likely be a game-time decision Sunday.
10/09/11 - CB Ras-I Dowling, a rookie second-round pick who was often injured in his days at Virginia, was active against the Jets after missing two games with a hip injury. He did not play.
10/02/11 - CB Ras-I Dowling, a rookie second-round pick who was often injured in his days at Virginia, missed his second straight game with a hip injury.
09/30/11 - CB Ras-I Dowling did not practice Friday due to a hip injury and is listed as questionable for the Patriots' game against the Raiders.
09/26/11 - S Ras-I Dowling missed the third game of the year with a hip injury after notching starts in his first two career games as a second-round pick.

Do you BBB has them wearing white today thinking that Romo will have a brainfart late and throw to the guy in the silver helmet and the white shirt?
