I think you're overblowing the awful part. That's 7 awesome defensive drives, 2 bad ones, and 1 that's kind of hard to judge because they were put in a bad spot. If the defense can repeat this performance on a consistent basis, this team will be dominant.
Thanks. This is odd, to say the least. When the D was good, they were outstanding, and when they were bad, they were truly awful.
In truth, I think the ineptitude of the Jets offense was a pretty big factor. They look pretty bad. Greene played way above his baseline and the offense was still terrible on the whole. Sanchez is still Sanchez. (Can't wait for SeanBerry to point out that Sanchez had a better QB Rating than Brady. What a great stat!)
Like ivanamp said, if not for the pick at the end of the first half and the long KO return from McKnight, it's blowout city.
