The problem with TBS' pitch tracker is it doesn't differentiate between balls and strikes. So on pitch 7, I have no idea if the ump is doing good or bad.

Um, the pitches in the blue zone are strikes?

Again. CALL STRIKES.

Sabathia was all over the fucking place in that Young PA. Nothing to call.

When you are wild, you dont get corners. 3rd walk for the slightly tired big man.

Except when the ump calls those balls as he has done three times tonight?

CC looks way worse than on Friday, Soriano is going to be in this one early.

Also when you don't get corners, you seem wild, it works both ways.

So this seems like a good time to mention that it turned out the Sox missed Wiktor this year -- on the field and in the clubhouse.

I didn't say that was my answer to whether Sabathia is sharp or not. I said that was what is wrong with the stupid pitch tracker.

Neither Verlander nor CC look sharp. Maybe it's tougher than I realized to come back after pitching an inning or two on Friday.

The Big Three can go a minimum of 12 outs today, we just need five like that from CC. Since Girardi didn't use Robertson in the 9th last night when he should have, presumably he's good for six outs if needed tonight.

I see only 2 missed calls but those arent crazy missed calls. Err one needs to relax.

Verlander needs a quick one here.

CC (and hopefully Verlander) can forget about that high-ish outside part of the plate against rightys.

Not five just like that, that would be 140 pitches, but I am always OK with walking Cabrera and the Jackson call was bad after a tough AB both ways.

He kills Garcia, he generally has trouble catching up with real fastballs now. Santiago has good numbers against CC, presumably why he did it. I was happy when I saw that certainly.
