i like Pedey but Cano turns way more DPs and has better range and is a better hitter, its close, because Pedey is a leader and a warrior but, if Theo could make that trade he'd do it.

Is better at turning DP or turns more of them which doesnt mean he's better at turning a DP?

You should quit now, I am a Yankee fan and I would take Cano, but you can't make these arguments here without facts. You will have a hard time finding any defensive stats that show Cano to be the better fielder.

The "leader and warrior" bullshit is stupid. I am sure his leadership has lead the Red Sox to many wins in the month of September. Maybe he needs calm eyes like Jeter.

I agree - they're very close. As are Teixeria/Gonzalez, Lester/Sabathia, and Granderson/Ellsbury. It makes for some really fun discussion, generally-speaking.

true but of the 4 Tex vs Adrian isnt close, Gonzo is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better, i call em as i see em

look at dp's and range factor yes, Cano makes more errors, but he averages way more DPs because he gets to more balls, since jeter has no range, Cano is better, not fighting just being unbiased

Of course not, but you're doing a truly awful job, and I asked you to stop about a page back. If you want to start a Cano/Pedroia comparison thread in the main Yankee section, I guess you can do that, but probably you should leave it to people with a better grasp of baseball than you.

And why the hell is your user name mikepelfrey?

Nice job by Girardi piecing together 6.1 scoreless from 7 relievers without using Robertson or Soriano. Combined line of:

6.1 5 0 0 1 8

There's no tarp on the field, but they are in delay.

What I question is why they didn't start CC in the day game, knowing rain was coming at night.
