It's warming up in the bullpen. Matt Albers. The only thing stopping Wake from #200 is a large asteroid headed right at Boston.

When I got to Dublin, I realized that the Irish pronounced their name Tin Lizzy, and it all began to make sense. Thin Lizzy is good mojo.Muddy Chicken is NOW back over .300. Runs all over the place, Gonzo and Carl both hitting. Feels good to know the boys are back in town.
Tito is not a Scioscialist.I like the team to win everyday and if you watch every inning as I do, there are a lot of very questionable things done. Aceves had 7 pitches after the 7th so why not take him out and have him for another inning tomorrow or for 2-3 Thursday against Tampa. He ended with 19 pitches and 2 innings, not available tomorrow and not for long on Thursday.
Why dumb? The guy almost never hits and run, doesnīt bunt and has a problem in bringing the relievers 1-3 batters late and he is enamored of a lot of mediocre players (Lowrie tonight, Lugo for a bunch of games, etc.).
You're probably quite the tasty morsel. Be sure to come back tomorrow.

Sadly, opposing teams don't let bad AAA pitchers throw in games that are close. This is great, but it would have been greater to distribute these runs, two or three per game, over the past week's games.

1-2-3 inning. This is where Tazawa begins to make the case for his inclusion on the postseason roster.Boy am I gonna be pissed if Tazawa blows this.

OK I get it we should be euphorical because after a week of playing shit we went over Morrow and the Jays, and yes I believe bunting is an important part of the game and in close games could get you a win, as hit and runs eliminate doubleplays and not leaving Wakefield longer than he should (since 10 years ago we know he breaks when approximating 100 pitches)as in the last game. I'll see what all of you will say when we go 3 and out as it happened the last time we made it to the post-season. Give Lowrie at bats against Verlander and donīt bunt or hit and run against him and wait for the 3 run homer as Zimmer did in 78 (ah well I remember he sent Lynn bunting on the Saturday game of the Boston massacre, I believe a 7-0 L, because he had been criticized all season for not bunting).Congratulations you just won the argument.

I don't feel like going into detail on your every point. All I will say is the following: I allow Tito to slide because he goes for the throat at every opportunity in the post-season. I don't care about how he manages in the regular season, because, in general, it doesn't make any fucking difference.

Random observation: It looked like all the young guys were squinting really hard. Could it be that the lights in Fenway really are brighter? Or was it just a nervous reaction/ my imagination?
That's racist

Oct 13 2004 just happened to be my 30th b-day and the Red Sox lost to the Yanks of course. Thanx for bringing that upFrancoma? Congrats you are the first person to use that since October 13th, 2004. It sucked then. It sucks and is incredibly dumb now.
