It was only a matter of time. They did what the Sox couldn't against Sabathia.

you mean get pitches called strikes that were 3-8" off the plate?

Way to change the K zone after the damage has been done.

You had him fucking 0-2. You throw 98 mph. Put him the fuck away.

I wish he stuck with the slider. Awful pitch selection during the Martin AB after making him look foolish on the slider.

Lol, it was obviously a bit of hyperbole, but if you feel good about this, then I think you are in the minority.

I felt fine about 3-2 in the 7th inning. Certainly not enough to say 'ballgame.'

This feels like one of those times when Tito doesn't give a pitcher enough time to warm up so them come in and suck for a few batters.

You're right. Those guys in the Hall of Fame with the 0.00 WHIP are much more deserving of the moniker.

Using Aceves for a second inning instead of Wheeler. Dumb.

It is clear that Tito had no confidence in Wheeler. I'd love to know why but he doesn't.

Yankees fans always whine that the Red Sox hit their batters too much, but half the time, they're trying to get hit, and it puts runners on base when they need them.

The Sox scored 2 runs in the previous 6 innings. Thus, they are on pace to score 1 in the next 3.

When the Sox come back and win this, you are only allowed a brief nod of approval and a quiet grunt for celebrating.

Anybody else noticing that for two nights in a row, all the Yankees have done against Bard is square up the ball and
hit line shots all over the place? I don't like that at all.

Excruciatin', it'n it?

Yes, yes it is.

He was G38's 3,000 K -- 2007 IIRC and was a total a-hole when interviewed @ end of game. If I had google or lexis-nexis skills I could quote it. Help me Sprowl.

I would, but nobody really wants to hear what Nick Swisher has to say. Ever.

Ballgame.

Since you think the game is over, you obviously won't mind feeding the hungry instead.

We had a million baserunners in the first game and couldn't break through. They had a million in this one and did. Difference in the series, to this point.
