I know this is silly season, but we have to close the credibility gap that has kind of expanded over the course of the last year.

If you cite something, link it or at least say where you heard it. That includes including a clickable Twitter link if you're citing a Tweet. You might not be first to post it if you actually have to exert some effort, but at least it's cleaner and easier to navigate some of the information out there.

Example:

Don't just write:

@jaysonst Jayson Stark
You know all those "Ubaldo Deal Done" headlines last night? It's now actually safe to use them. Woo-hoo! It's official. #trades

Write:

You know all those "Ubaldo Deal Done" headlines last night? It's now actually safe to use them. Woo-hoo! It's official. #trades

or something like that. Let's pretend like we give a shit about disseminating information to the group.

For anyone confused about how to cite a specific tweet from a feed you're following, here you go. Let's say you want to cite the Matt Light news below.
