Just saw this at ESPN. I grew up watching that movie. First one with a ton of swearing in it, but I was just more interested in the baseball side of it.

Anyway, got his fastball from 79 to 85 during filming.

I assume this will hurt his Hall of Fame chances considerably.

Mickey Rourke juiced up for "The Wrestler," according to him... supposedly Nicholas Cage used to juice when he was doing action roles, but I've never heard that really confirmed. Stallone got busted in Japan (iirc) with steroids. Ahhhhnold juiced when he was a bodybuilder, as per his admission, I'd bet he continued a bit as an actor. Probably a lot of Hollywood "action" guys juice so they can get the ripped look.
