Every time they take the full five minutes for the first pick.

It's just silly.

It's always annoying, but I guess they could be fielding trade offers? Or hoping one will come in at the last second that will blow them away? I really have no more to say but don't know how to stop typing....

Is the ESPN panel being broadcast throughout the entire arena? I hate when networks do that.

I hope people keep this crap year in mind when judging him down the road...he is not going to be a typical #1...actually, maybe compared to guys like Oden, that is good...

AP ... trade yet to be confirmed by NBA

The Bobcats agreed to send top scorer Stephen Jackson to the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-way trade involving the Sacramento Kings that gave Charlotte two picks in the top nine of the NBA draft, a person familiar with the deal said Thursday.
In another sign of owner Michael Jordan’s rebuilding effort, the Bobcats were also to send the 19th pick and backup point guard Shaun Livingston to the Bucks. Milwaukee, in desperate need of added scoring, also was to receive guard Beno Udrih from the Kings.
Charlotte would get the No. 7 overall pick from Sacramento — it already owns the No. 9 pick — and forward Corey Maggette from Milwaukee.
Guard John Salmons would go from Milwaukee to Sacramento, which also would get the 10th pick from the Bucks.

The Timberwolves have already alerted Derrick Williams' camp: They're drafting him with the No. 2 pick.

LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Lakers forward Ron Artest wants to change his name to Metta World Peace.
Artest’s attorney filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday seeking the change.

No one is taking Baron's contract.

You definitely try to trade Baron, but you only draft Irving and Knight/Kemba if you are David Kahn.

I can't believe that the Cavs didn't take Williams. Not inconcievable that they could have gotten both Williams and Irving anyways, plus Williams and Knight would have been a ton better than Irving/Thompson.

Lots of rumors going around that Thompson could be on the move. A few teams really liked him. Could be Detroit so stay tuned...Cleveland might not be done

Or see if someone will take Baron off their hands with it, too. But question is who would they take at 7?

The Jazz have Kanter, Milsap, Jefferson, and Favors now. I bet at least one of those guys is available.
