And the contradicting headlines on this newspaper front page are just fantastic.

Did anyone else notice during the celebration that the 3rd goalie (can't recall his name) was skating around WITH HIS PADS ON? seriously? that was weird. he's the dude in pads in the team photo posted up-thread

That would be Khudobin. They did the same for all the Black Aces, as I recall Sherrif, Kampfer a few others getting a twirl with Stanley.

Oh, i know all of the Aces got to skate with the cup but for him to have his pads on just struck me as odd. I can def. see being in uniform but the pads just throws me off... oh well, when he shows his grandkids the photo, it'll look like he played!

I would love to know when the Aces started to get dressed. Who makes that first move? No fucking way I would have had the balls to do it. Hell, I started to post something to FB after the empty netter and sliding smacked me down (rightly so I might add).

and yeah, think Seguin might be a little over not being the overall #1? Man. It's not that easy, kid. Enjoy it....

Love the last one and the one of the team rushing on the ice. McMullet ripping off his helmet is particularly awesome.

Funny enough, the story behind this picture is that he took the stick away from people who'd already broken the glass and was trying to maintain some sort of order. The juxtaposition is still incredible and hilarious, regardless.
