Hopefully Shaq retires and the 6 million can be off the books.
This seems very likely.

We did not deserve to shoot anywhere near the amount of free throws the Heat did.
C'mon. Wade and LeBron were attacking the rim 75% of the time. We couldn't stop them from splitting double teams or turning the corner. They should shoot alot more FT's.
The Celtics mindless turnovers, inability to contain James/Wade, Pierce's awful shot to close regulation in Game 4, on and on. We are lucky to have even given them this much of a series. We played awful and look really old.

Wow. Really surprised he was so definitive.

I just did the math in my head, so you could be right.
1, 32, 18 -- 14
2, 36, 22 -- 14
3, 17, 19 -- -2
4, 28, 29 -- -1
5, 38, 20 -- 18
I think I get 43 still. I'm too angry to grab a calculator

They attacked because they were getting calls. The C's didn't stop them because they have only a finite number of fouls to give.
On the other hand, the C's seemed to get very few calls when they attacked the rim. I am not complaining mind you...anyone who watches the NBA knows this is standard operating procedure.

Doc: 'I'm leaning heavily toward coming back.'
'I'm a Celtic, and I love our guys. I want to win again here. I'm competitive as hell, and we have a competitive group.'

He didn't have to. It was implicit in every word he said.I wish Doc had said "you may notice we went down fighting, and we didn't pull a bunch of chicken shit moves because we were mad that we lost."

It's standard procedure for the home team. The Celts were only +3 on FTA at home over 2 games.

Miami -7, two points higher than the line in games one and two.
Not looking good.
WHAT THE FUCK! THE KG, PIERCE AND RAY ERA CANNOT END WITH A DOUBLE DIGIT ROUT! SHOW SOME FUCKING HEART! BE PRIDEFUL! BEAT THESE BITCHES!
Posted 11 May 2011 - 09:03 PM
The FT attempts don't even show the ridiculous traveling calls on Baby and Pierce, the out of bounds on Bosh. That's a direct result of 5 points being taken off the board, possibly 7.

or all of the miscalled flagrant fouls.. don't even know how many points of a swing that would have been over the course of the series.

Holy shit. What a travesty.Games 3 and 4 was Celts +3
Games 1, 2 and 5 was Heat +46

Pretty much.God knows what happens with the CBA and cap, but I think this team can be right back in the thick of things by tweaking the roster around Rondo/PP/Ray/KG/Green.
Posted 11 May 2011 - 09:05 PM
I can't talk rationally about this right now. So fucking pissed off at everything right now. I can accept losing to these guys, but I can't accept the level of incompetence shown by the officiating this series. It's a fucking embarrassment to the sport. Figure it the fuck out Stern.

Dildo sales with the NBA logo?It is until it isn't. From a money perspective the Heat in the finals is far more marketable for the NBA than Boston. Its really not hard to understand what is going on here.

Got it- I guess home cookin' only happens in
South Beachthe fringe of Downtown Miami, where homeless people line the sidewalks at night sleeping on cardboard boxes. Even more pathetic drawn out that way....

Pretty much.
Really need an athletic big and a scorer off the bench. And some luck in the health dept.
