I admit it. I hate the Heat. I hate them so much that I'd root for the despicable Lakers if the Heat and Lakers met in the Finals.

I mean, look at these guys:

Look at him:

Now the truth is that I want the Cs to beat the Heat because, shockingly, I want the Cs to win Title 18, and this series is just one obstacle along the way to that ultimate goal. But even if I knew that they'd lose in the Eastern Conference Finals or the Finals, I'd still want the Cs to crush these dickheads with extreme prejudice.

Will Shaq play? I tend to doubt it but I hope I'm wrong.

But with or without Shaq, they will have a lot of rest, they will have a focused Rondo and, yes, they will win the series.

On to Game 1.

I hope to see a lot of this in the series.

I hated Carmelo Anthony but man... Lebron hate is almost on the level of Kobe.

Please beat these frauds.

I hate this team with an incredible passion.

That picture makes me want to vomit.

Not to mention: I may or may not have bet my life that the Heat wouldn't win a Championship this year. Not sure.

LETS GO C'S!

LETS GO C'S!

So Cup, are you going to roll over your first round winnings on another C's sweep?

I bet the series at +170 the other day. Hadn't considered the sweep or in five yet but at +1900 and +1500 respectively, I may have no choice but to throw some of the Knicks winnings on it.

They're going to win the series, why not in 4 or 5?

Nervous for this game and series. Don't know which C's will show up. Rebounding and Rondo's pace will determine it all.

I wonder if the Celtics will play Green w/ the big 4 and let him guard Lebron to save PP's legs. KG would have to stay on Bosh and then Pierce on whoever else is in for Miami (Z, Anthony, Jones etc.) Would be intersting. I wouldn't mind Pierce on Anthony as he is no threat to score, would just need to box the hell out.

God I hate the Heat. And although I wish Eddie House weren't on their roster so I could hate them unconditionally, I kind of still do anyway.

I hate their stupid fans wearing stupid white t-shirts. I hated bigoted Tim Hardaway when he played, I never liked Dan Majerle, and I can't stand Chris Bosh.

Here come the pain.

I feel like starting with a crap performance from LeBron is important. The C's need to put the pressure on him -- play to his fragile ego, his need to be the hero. The best thing that could happen in this series is if he and Wade feel the weight of the world on their shoulders. Yes, LeBron will break out at some point in this series regardless but by then, lie Orlando last year, you hope the tension will have put so much pressure on the team as a whole that they won't be able to dig themselves out of the hole.

WIN

All I ask is that our guards don't allow a dagger three by scrubs such as Bibby or Miller. Let LeBron attempt play hero ball in the 4th QTR, shut everyone else down.

I just woke up from a dream five minutes ago.

Rondo and I were walking up to an airport bar after a NASCAR race. They were broadcasting ESPN's PTI from there, and the place was going nuts. Wilbon was smirking, soaking in the hillbilly madness, but Kornheiser wasn't to be seen.

I turned to Rondo and said, "I hope Green isn't so weak next time."

"For real," he said, while gazing over the crowd. I'm guessing we were in Charlotte (CLT), because they have some NASCAR bar there, but in thinking about it, it was more of a Charlotte (CLT), Los Angeles (LAX), Bradley International (BDL) hybrid bar. I saw bits of all three of them.

"I gotta take a leak," I dutifully informed Rajon. "I'm gonna try to come back through that other side on the way back and grab a beer. You want one?"

"Yeah," he said, still surveying the crowd.

Then I woke up. It reminded me of a dream sequence Tony Soprano once had, only shorter and less interesting, as Annette Benning and the gorgeous Annabella Sciorrra weren't in it. But why did I bring up Green? Why post-NASCAR? And what kind of beer did Rondo want? Is he cool with a Budweiser?

I'm gonna try to go back to sleep for an hour, try to revisit my CLT/LAX/BDL bar, see if Rajon is still there. But we've all tried this before, and it never works.

Beat the Heat. I hate Lebron.

This series will be a real litmus test for the trade. Green is supposed to spell PP in matchups like this one.

Go Green Go-- both the team and the player.

I'm positively giddy about this series.

Two quick boards and some free throws for the incomparable Rajon Rondo!

Miami not even a putting a soul close to the basket for offensive rebounds. They are getting back and getting back fast.

Rondo needs to go after Bibby like that the entire game.

Rondo, Jermaine, and KG all have good matchups on the offensive zone.

And KG should get that 8 foot turnaround all day too.
