1) aggressive Rondo
2) refs giving him zero in the way of foul calls

What a joke Atlanta is as a sports town.
Are there this many transplanted New Englanders in Atlanta?
Or are these mostly pathetic bandwagon jumping locals?

2 things continuing from last night
1) aggressive Rondo
2) refs giving him zero in the way of foul calls
The Hawks are doing a lot of body-checking, and the refs are allowing it. It's helping the Hawks, who are rested and playing hard.
Now the Celtics are starting to play pissed off, starting with Pierce.

P2 looking good tonight. Bottle that for the playoffs.
Hasn't lost a step from his strong game last night.
Hopefully Ray can get his shit together before the playoffs. I'll be interested to see how he plays tonight.

Honestly they should sit Ray for the next week. And, looking ahead, he should be a sixth man next year.

Every time Green comes in, the interior defense falls apart.
Theres no doubt Krstic and Green have been defensive weak links out there.
I have little hope for the slow footed Nenad, but hopefully with some coaching from Doc/Frank/KG, Green can improve

and Green responds with an honest-to-goodness block!

Good god y'all! A Big Baby 40-foot jumper off the dribble!! He looked good doing it, too.
I think you probably gave him an extra 10 feet on that one, but I agree he surprisingly had a good stroke on that 3

I've said it before, but does Green remind anyone else of Reggie Lewis?
I fucking wish....

They may want to sit the ghost of Ray Allen for a while.
He's an old guy whose game depends on his legs. He needs some rest down the stretch.

Not really, to my eyes. Green plays softer and smoother than Lewis, who had a herky-jerky motion on his pop-up jumper that was second-best only to Jordan's. Green doesn't really turn on a dime -- he sprints past, extends and out-reaches his defender.

It's more or less a solidarity gesture. Not much of a basketball fan, so sorry to butt in. I have a question: why do players slap a freethrow shooter's hands after he misses a shot? What's there to celebrate?

OK, gotcha. Thanks. (I can't think of a comp situation in any of the other three major sports.)
