We still don't have a game thread and I'm venturing into Newark tonight.

Between the "pesky Nets" (per Paul Pierce) keeping it close the last time these two teams played in Boston and the low minutes logged by the starters last night, this shouldn't be a trap game or a classic tired second half of a back-to-back.

So no excuses, Celtics, rip their tits off.

Damn, I get my first game thread win (I was a career 0-1) and then miss getting the follow up in on time. Well I screwed up the standings yesterday and we still got the win so once again Celts do as I say not as I do and take care of business. I was a little concerned that New Jersey had won 4 in a row but then I saw the best team they have beat is Golden State so.... no excuses.

That rule is only for players driving from outside. If you get the ball inside, the rule no longer exists. You can't just run through someone under the basket if you have the ball in the post down there to begin with.

Wouldnt be surprised if it's partially him sulking from playing so terribly. I didn't see the injury, but I would be shocked if he hurt it as bad as he did in the Knicks game earlier in the year. And he came back in that one. Will be interesting to see if he comes back in this one.

I'm officially concerned about Rondo's funk. It's one thing when a player goes in a shooting slump, that happens to everyone, he seems to just be overall shitty now for weeks. I'd like to think he'll pull out for the playoffs because we NEED him in the playoffs. Especially if he has a matchup with Rose.
