Another blown call at 2nd.
Bad baseball all around.

It wasn't Ellsbury, because he walked across the screen later toward where Johnson was pointing after he said it.

Not enjoying Salty's return throw to Papelbon of ten pitches or so ago. He walked in front of the plate and then short armed a lob that Papelbon had to lean forward to scoop just above his shoe-tops.
I did like that though, even if he was actually safe.
Edit: "that" referring to the Pickoff.

Was that the 4th ball to the backstop tonight for the Yanks? Plus the dropped strike 3 that let Pedroia take second? Montero does not look like a catcher...
Yeah, not that I've seen him a whole lot, but this is the first time I've seen with my own eyes what the scouts have been saying all along.

Wow Bobby Valentine is not...just, wow. If a bat breaks and follows a ground ball the batter should be called out for interference.
This despite the fact that hitters no longer enjoy the luxury of Ash bats which are much more durable than Maple. The stands of Ash have disappeared.

Olbermann in the Sox dugout.
Is he telling all the players they need to pay higher taxes?
