Aceves takes the mound for the Red Sox and the Yankees are going to pitch their 20-year-old wunderkind Manny Banuelos in place of Sergio Mitre, who was scratched with an oblique injury.

Game's at 7:05 on the Deuce.

Game's at 7:05 on the Deuce.

If you're in the Boston viewing area, it's on NESN. ESPN2's feed is blacked out, airing ESPN News instead.

FYI - not sure if it's just local, but I'm able to access the stream via ESP3.com. And that was a nice snag by Aceves.

In NY ESPN2 is blacked out but the game is not on Yes. What the hell?

They're not airing this game. It's MLB Tonight Live followed by 30 Clubs In 30 Days (Oakland).

Did he anyone else feel uncomfortable when he criticized Crawford for being "impure" and then name Ted Williams as being "pure"?

Seemed like Bobby was pretty clearly talking about prototypical hitting fundamentals. Didn't bother me

So not a fan of Adrian Gonzalez hitting 5th. Tito trying to take the pressure off him to start the year I can only assume, but it's pretty silly.

Not a good swing by Gonzalez for a 3-1 count.

Banuelos looks really wild. Definitely looks like he needs at least a year at AA/AAA to get his mechanics more consistent, but he has good stuff.

Anyone else think that the worst part of the game so far was the awful throw by Salty in the 1st? Even Tek would have nailed the runner by 10 feet on that play.

I hate seeing Chavez in a Yankee uniform. I always liked him, and want to root for him to have a nice comeback as a bench player, but I don't want to see him help the Yankees.

It looked like the ball slipped out of his hand to me. It wasn't great to see such an awful throw, but I don't think it had anything to do with yips or anything.

Also he had to dive to his left to corral the ball before he could throw it. Probably would've been better to hang onto it, but I'm not sweating it too much.

They're running up Banuelos's pitch count--he'll be nice and tired when he faces the Seadogs.

Listening to DO butcher that name was downright painful.

His scoreless streak continues. Yikes, he's only 20.

Not enjoying Salty's return throw to Papelbon of ten pitches or so ago. He walked in front of the plate and then short armed a lob that Papelbon had to lean forward to scoop just above his shoe-tops.
