The last time the Celtics beat GS in Oakland, Jiri Welsch, who GSW traded to Boston only 4 months earlier, scored 15 points. Pierce had 21 and Jason Richardson had 17 for GSW. December 29th 2003 was the date. The Ws are even hot right now, having beaten OKC, NO and Utah in their last 3. 3 in a row is a good streak for them. Cs need to stop the insanity!Post-ASB hangover? Tough team to play for the Celtics as they get up-and-down the floor at a faster clip. Hope they are ready to play.

For once can Perkins just catch the ball and take it straight to the hoop without bringing it down for a dribble?
Perkins getting the ball wide open down low has reached "Knoblauch throwing to 1st" levels. He is completely incompetent in every way. It has to be mostly mental at this point. He's always been bad, but never this bad.
Takes too much time, brings the ball down, loses the ball or gets blocked constantly. He must be converting 10% of the time on plays than an average NBA player would convert over 90% of the time. The guy is WIDE FUCKING OPEN.

Nate might be the worst player on the team.
Don't underestimate the suck that is Avery Bradley.
But considering Nate is undersized and Bradley in theory is good at D (although in practice he overplays and gets burned all the time), it might be close.

One can only hope that with Delonte back running the second unit offense, Nate can be left alone to take the occasional three and play as much defense as he's capable of.

Bill Walton is not all about the milk of human kindness, that's for sure, but in the next breath, you know that 1986 was still the best year of his life.Walton is the anti-Tommy. He just shits all over the Celtics all game long.
Talk to the hands.Rondo isn't a winner of the genetic lottery?

....aaaaaaaaaaaaand Perk goes out with some sort of ailment. In a perfect world, where money didn't matter, this team would outright cut four players now and sign ANYONE able to play to fill those slots and rest the starters. Otherwise we are going to relive 1987 all over again.

Baby is perfect for these west coast, run and gun type of games. He is mobile, moves well up and down the court, and can keep up with the quicker big's that these teams have to offer. Perk on the other hand, is more for the half court type of game. Baby coming up big tonight!
