They showed the pre-match handshakes...tiger was about as cold as was humanly possible when shaking Williams' hand without punching him in the face. Which was the right thing to do. You could see Williams was a bit anxious waiting for it

I already posted this in P&G. I believe this is the post match handshake:

They should make him shake hands with Steve Williams after every loss.

To be fair, that was a very hard fought match and the conditions yesterday were brutal. They lost 1up to two Aussie's that know the course very well.

Jason Day made 7 bogies in that match, but his par on 8 was a difference maker. Tiger played well, but he burned the lip a couple of times. That's match play.

yeah, I should have been more specific. They were up for several holes until falling behind and Tiger did play well I thought, just missed a birdie chip on 18 and a bomb eagle putt before that.

Fastest greens I've seen in a long time. The 3rd hole is nuts.

Remember when Villegas got DQd this year for repairing a divot? Ryo did that on No. 3, a hole he won. Don't be surprised if they change that, because that's a loss of hole in match play

Dustin Johnson just played that hole like a fucking moron. Regardless of whether he makes the putt or not.

Maybe not 2012 USGA rules of Golf New Decisions

For example, while a player may not smooth the ragged edge of a hole or tap down spike marks in order to influence the movement of a ball of an opponent, fellow-competitor or partner, the player may generally smooth the ragged edge of a hole or tap down spike marks as a courtesy to players in following groups or matches, or for care of the course (see Decision 1-2/3.5). Similarly, while a player may not press down a piece of turf in the area in which a ball in motion may come to rest or in the area in which a ball is to be dropped or placed with the intention of influencing the movement of the ball, a player generally may attempt to tidy up the course by repairing divot holes and/or replacing divots that do not affect play of the hole by a player in the player’s group or match (see Decision 1-2/8). (New)

Tiger is going to secure the cup.

Edit: anyone who says Tiger is done didn't watch this week, or that bunker shot.

Tiger is -7 for the round through 13 holes in Round 2 of the Chevron today, and in the lead by a stroke.

EDIT: Shot himself in the foot with a double on 15 and bogey on 17, but still ties for the round of the day with a 67, and has a 3-shot lead heading into the weekend.

A lot of sports this weekend, but a Tiger victory this weekend would be a shock and potentially a big story. he is still not hitting it great but the [putting seems to have returned

Huh? His ball-striking has been phenomenal. He missed 3 three-footers yesterday.

His swing looks so, so much better. He can hit the stinger again. However, hitting 2-iron and then 3-wood on that 524-yard par 5 was moronic.

He looks good. I would be surprised if he loses.

That punch draw 7 from Johnson was incredibly awesome - I have played with two scratches who throw darts with that shot. Holing out to end a round is pretty cool.

Tiger up by 2 then goes bogey-par while Zach Johnson makes a birdie to tie for the lead.

Zach Johnson is playing about as slow as I've ever seen someone play on tour. Each decision is taking close to 5 minutes.

Great approach into 18. Inside Zach, and he should get a read off of Zach's putt.

Pretty amazing that they expect him to hit it inside 10 feet from 158. Not to mention stiffing it.
