Sacramento Kings visit Wednesday night, on the second leg of a back-to-back with the Wizards. I don't see how their plane even makes it on time from Reagan/Dulles/BWI/wherever. They'll be tired after being given an ultimatum of forfeit or bus ride, and will lose by 40, as KG comes back in 100% form.

Likely no KG. Or Pierce. Or Allen. Or any fans. Or anyone. Blizzard postpones this baby.

Is that what you're hoping for, or is that what is actually happening?

game on thus far

Game is on, last I heard.

Blizzard or no blizzard, KG or no KG, it shouldn't matter. This Kings team is so god damn awful that it shouldn't matter at all.

This is Boston. We don't postpone games for snow.

Unless the Kings couldnt get to Boston, this game happens. I went to a Bruins/Devils game in 18 inches of snow. There was maybe 1500 people there but the game was played.

Jermaine O'Neal is out too.

Preparing myself for a lot of Harangody.

By which I mean, I'm pouring a tall, stiff drink.

Davis has regressed badly since the first month of the season. He's getting stuffed, throwing up bricks, not reaching rebounds, and making the occasional boneheaded play.

Sacramento: without Tyreke Evans, there's practically no there there.

I can't say that I follow west coast basketball extremely closely, but I follow it enough that I'm amazed that there are so many dudes on this team that I've never heard of.

I think part of the problem is that he is not in good enough shape to play the minutes he's getting right now. He already has borderline NBA athleticism to begin with, and he is getting exposed with the added fatigue. He is averaging over 30 minutes a game in both December and February and thats just too many for him. Those minutes seem to be having a cumulative effect on him. He needs to be closer to 20-25 to be effective I think.

One good thing may be that by getting exposed in starter's minutes, he will be easier to re-sign. Perhaps he will accept that he should be paid as a solid 6th/7th man, and not a starter. If he wants more than that and someone else bites, Danny should let him go.

He took the 3 then intentionally fouled so he could go to the bench.

That was amazing.

With no reaction from the coaches or other players that I saw. Makes you appreciate the atmosphere on this Celtics team. It seems rare when someone does something selfish/stupid and if/when that happens (Big Baby's three a few games back) they get called out for it.

He does seem a little gassed at times. It's surprising to me that the NBA grind doesn't burn a few pounds off him, but it doesn't seem to work that way.

The minutes and the competition both seem to be catching up. He is more exposed against opposing starters too -- he should be better once Garnett returns.

This actually conflicts with my above comment about the team having discipline but........I'll conflict anyway. A couple games back Doc made a comment along the lines of "over the last few games Baby is leading our team in shots per game. I love Baby but that's not right." However at the half he is tied for the most shots with 10, and he had the most shots on the team the last two games (17 against the bulls, 14 against the rockets). If Doc specifically says Davis shouldn't lead the team in shots and then he continues to lead the team in shots.......who's at fault here?

yes, baby, yes!

Very impressed by how full the seats were, maybe 3/4. But still able to upgrade our 300 corners to sideline Loges, tee hee.

Yeah, Sactown without Eke, they were pretty bad. I wanted to boo or yell "swallows" every time Jetes brought up the ball but we didn't want to be kicked out.
