We're playing the Raptors again? The Celtics continue their streak of close-but-not-quite blown games against the Toronto Raptors. Yesterday, Toronto won a game against an equally horrendous team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. This victory more than satisfies their win quota for January, 2011, and puts them in an uncomfortable situation. Lets return then to their losing ways.

Short and sweet: No excuses. Beat these bastards.

Hi!

Shaq sees no other big men on the floor, and he's busting his ass. This is good.

I love when Big Baby stands in to try to take a charge. Sometimes he falls so slowly you can almost hear someone yelling "TIMBERRRRRRRRRRRR" in the background.

Shaq is quick down the floor. He's got a lot more energy now that he doesn't have to play 40 minutes a game.

For the 5 minutes that Harangody is on the floor, I hate life.

EDIT: Ok. That was an awesome shot. I still hate him.

Really liking what I've seen out of Von Wafer these past couple of weeks. He's buying in defensively.

Why haven't they played this well against this shitty, shitty team before.

Just keep it up in the 2nd half is all I ask.

Shaq!

I'm surprised they didnt tee Shaq up for a flagrant on that one. Maybe that only happens against the Heat.

Is Larry Bird the best #22 ever in sports?

This has probably been asked and answered before, but has a team ever had a starting 5 that later consisted of 5 HOFers? One of the Celtics team had to, right? I think we're watching one right now, at least when KG is healthy.

I would think a few of those Celtics teams from the 60's must have.

S Jones KC Jones, Cousy , Russell,Sharman, Havlicek. and/or Heinsohn from the 50s-60s maybe? At some point possibly five of them overlapped.

There were 6 HOFs on the 1964 Celtics but BasketballReference doesn't tell me who started.
