I had them at 8-8. Are you stupider than me?

Thought they were a 9-7/10-6 team at best.

I realize it's stupid to reference a WEEI postgame, but following the Cleveland game, they had a guy who sounded reaaaaaaaally drunk, called in and said, "So what if they win out? What if they go 14-2?" And the hosts were apparently speechless and hit the "bomb" button to hang up on him. I sat in my car and laughed at how stupid some people were, to think we could go 14-2.

Evidently, he was not so stupid.

Perhaps we just don't drink enough.

If Toyota were smart, they'd realize that the Buzzsaw thing is worth following up

Not in.

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion.

I really hope the NFL gives the Pats the Saturday game, especially if the opponent is Baltimore.

I thought Indy was the 3 seed (assuming they win today). What am I missing?

Indy is likely going to be the 3 seed because the Chiefs spit the bit. This is a pretty sweet day for the Steelers. They have a likely easier opponent in Round 2 and get to face the winner of the Pats/Ravens massacre.

"I know you all don't see it that way, but I think if you're going to compete in a game, you compete."

Edit: BB Is annoyed. Just openly sighed into the microphone at the question if Brady is playing better than he's ever played. Said he's playing pretty well.

I'm not so confident in BAL over KC.

KC just got smashed by Oakland in a game that would've given them the 3rd seed. I'm pretty sure they gonna lose.

Right, and Baltimore almost lost to the Bengals.

I guess it's a little amusing to me that - in the 2010 NFL - people are penciling teams in for the second round.

EDIT - Especially when that Chiefs team has the best player in the league, a WR with like 15 TD, and the best rushing attack in football.

Baltimore had no offense today ... they hardly look invincible going into the playoffs.

Yup, playing carnac has been pretty difficult over the last few weeks. Who had the Eagles losing to the Vikings? Or the Chiefs getting walloped today (less of a surprise)?

I'd rather get the Chiefs than the Ravens but I'm pretty confident that these Pats will beat either of them.

Other than the Falcons and Eagles I'd be more scared to face the Raiders than any team in the NFC right now.

The worries about the Ravens is they are playoff tested on the road and don't have a glaring flaw. It's hard to envision a meeting with the Ravens not being a real tough game. The Chiefs are the opposite of playoff tested when it comes to their players. Plus, Charlie already has 1 foot out the door and maybe that helps explain their miserable day today. The Chiefs also lack quality wins. The Jets have a dinged up QB who may not be good enough when he's as healthy as can be. The Jags are simply not a very good team. The Colts may be as scary as the Ravens, but it's comforting to know the Pats offense should face little problem against their D in Foxboro. The scary part about the Colts is the fact the Pats can be up 3 scores with 10 minutes to go and the game isn't sealed.

I'll be the first, but hopefully not the last, to say this: Regardless of what happens Sunday, Tito has earned the right to start our first playoff game thread. A he'll of a run he's put together should not be wasted if the Patriots (wisely) rest their players.

BB says he wants Titoschew to lead us into the playoffs.

I'm pretty sure the Pat's have the best player in the league. But the Chiefs running attack is really, really. Losing Brace could really hurt us in that game.
