The chemistry between Branch and Brady is remarkable. It's really too bad that Branch ever left the team, and I'm sure he feels that way as well.Did anyone think that the branch play was eerily reminiscent of that Barry sanders play against us?
On another WR note, I'd like to see Edelman take some snaps from Tate. I understand he's the "stretch the field" guy, but I'd like to see what Branch, Welker, and Edelman (with Woodhead in the backfield) could do as a group.

Al, your avatar is driving me nuts.
Where is it from?
And Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
Wasn't she in a P&G thread a little while back?

Well a mighty fine impression it was, then.I was doing my best JulE6 impression, MDL. It usually only throws lurkers.
Today I'm thankful that most such rants here are merely performance art.

Is there?

They did and this defense continues to be awful on 3rd down and on pass defense. In the playoffs this will come into play. The Lions just fell apart on both sides of the ball; that's why this game broke wide open.
you're saying the competition gets tougher in the playoffs? you'd be correct there. of course, most of the teams that have worse records than the Pats have also played softer schedules, so I'm thinking they might not be perfect, either.
enjoy 9-2 and your turkey...plenty of time to worry about the playoffs later.

Thanks, beautiful.
That doesn't even show him being dragged along by Law Firm for the first score.

Lions are winning this game
No Barry this time around, but Calvin Johnson will provide a new highlight reel.
Or not.

Hey PeaceSignMoose, where's the fiddy headed?Anyway let's make this interesting, anyone want to lay some cash down on the game. I'll take the Lions straight up, let's say $50 to the winners charity of choice? Hell, if the Lions win by 14 or more I'll match the 50 bucks anyway. (I'm going to limit it to the first full time member that responds)

For every Reche Caldwell, there's an equal and opposite Alphonso Smith

I love the confidence. I'll take you up on that offer.
Let me know where to.
Anyway nice game guys, deep down it was pretty much the result I expected. I figured we'd be able to hang around for awhile but the Pats would be to much. Oh and Alphonso Smith is fucking terrible, I should start reading Kipers big board now in search of a corner for the Lions to take with their top 5 pick.

Hey PeaceSignMoose, where's the fiddy headed?
After struggling with several different charities, I decided to leave the PeaceSignMoose Beer Fund hanging here and opted for the DFCI. Too many people have been rocked by cancer and any little bit helps.
