Joe Torre, ladies and gentlemen!!!

Is it remotely possible that the Yankees just thought it would be bush league to bunt on Schill? I mean, it sounds crazy, but not any crazier than the idea hat it just never occurred to them.

Is this the game thread? Could they have gotten some fan input from anyone besides Bill Simmons and Lenny Clarke? Or at least in addition to? Where's the old lady that never missed a game? Where's the guy that was born in 1918? Where are the regular fans?

Yea you just can't say enough about what Foulke did. The fact that he was boo'd still bothers me.

NONE iof them should EVER be boo'd! NONE. Not Damon, nor Manny, not Foulkle...none of them.

no, we need a 20-hour version to do it justice.

...

or a 75-hour version, in real fuckin' time.

I would put my entire life on hold to watch a 75 hour version of this story.

Simmons nailed that. Yankee fans and their false bravado. They were so nervous.

The grand slam actually scared me. In my warped mind the more runs we scored the bigger the collapse would be. 2003 really fucking damaged me.
