Game 6. Clarke takes Foulke deep in the 9th for the walk off.Imagine what our lives would've been like if we lost in game 5 because of Tony Clark and Ruben Sierra.
Tony Clark.
And Ruben Sierra.
I was 100% sure that it was going to happen. I honestly think my heart rate was over 200 during that at bat.

I'm not sure I even knew how amazing this was at the time...I was just so tuned into every pitch that it was tough to see the whole picture the way this shows it.
Absolutely. I was on edge and stressed out and emotionally spent, night after night. I didn't sleep well at all.

One of the voices in the background saying that Schilling won't be able to do anything in game 6 and that the Sox are done was Jay Marriotti. And I didn't think I could feel still better about the ALCS comeback!
Oh Mariotti you play the foil so well.
Tread well in hell you pompous dick.

Same. I even said it outloud in our common room at Emerson as it was going on. I was the only real baseball fan in the room and remembered Tony Clark's terrible stint with us and figured this was the sickest joke of all.Game 6. Clarke takes Foulke deep in the 9th for the walk off.
I was 100% sure that it was going to happen. I honestly think my heart rate was over 200 during that at bat.
