Funny thing about him is he looks great from the left side, nice swing but he seems he is just WTP. Patterson has more HR's than him.Nava might never have a swing as good as his first for the remainder of his entire major league career

what he saidLackey's going to need to stop looking like an asshole when his defense sucks a bit, because he sucks a bit, too. I would think guys don;t appreciate that from a pitcher who has underachieved to the extent that he has this season.

Hopefully he is drinking the good stuff and not garbage like Hamms or Olympia.
Who said he was drinking? He's extracting blood from an earlier sacrifice

He makes pitchers throw him strikes, too. He just doesn't do much with them when they do.He's looked great defensively. Give him a full year at Pawtucket. He's gonna be ok.

Right, that's the part that has been frustrating to watch. A good approach, but he doesn't seem to make hard contact, like, ever. I just have to trust that it's a developmental thing, and everything will click soon.He makes pitchers throw him strikes, too. He just doesn't do much with them when they do.

For some reason, every game this series seems like a carbon copy. Crappy pitching, crappy fielding, crappy hitting. It might as well be March already.
The encouraging thing is that the Yankees playoff lineup is playing just as bad as the Sea Dogs and the Last Go Rounds.

Hall and Ortiz DP. D'OH and Double D'OH!
I've played on drunken softball teams that ran the bases better than the 2010 Red Sox.

I'd be perfectly fine to have him backup catcher to Victor.OK so I would like to see Tek back. In some capacity.

Yup. Salty needs to go to Pawtucket and see if he can turn into something.

We're going to be making Barry Zito jokes about Lackey arn't we?
I know you're talking contracts, but as for performance, yesterday's start by Zito was one of the worst I've ever seen. I was rooting for the Padres, and it still bothered me.

You make me look. Yikes! 10 base runners in 3 innings? Lucky only 4 scored.

ARod strikes me as someone who was not well-liked in school.
But not for a lack of trying, though. Probably wore a turtleneck cardigan, carried around a neon green trapper keeper, and did the "running man" in between classes.
